Yup.

You can literally see when she’s overthinking and it’s always in the games where they are running the Stephanie White offense of using AB as the hub. When she hesitates and doubts herself, it leads to unnecessary turnovers, missed shots because she’s desperately trying to get a shot up with .2 seconds and no real space, etc. And when she rarely does hit a big three, what’s the first thing that happens? Stephanie White is immediately on her, yapping. Or benching her.

When she controls the offense, everything just flows better for everybody, everybody eats, and CC’s able to just dominate too. But that’s seemingly why Stephanie White doesn’t want her running the offense her way. 😂 God forbid they win in a fun and exciting way with Clark on top and everybody eating. They’d rather it be an ugly battle, boring, slow, and the KM show. It’s not sustainable long-term, but it is what it is.

Glad they got the W but ugly ass game ofc. CC struggled but not surprising given circumstance. Is what it is.

And the fact she did it despite everything? Absolute BALLER.

First and foremost, a proper back up for AB. KK had a fantastic night as her first start and I’m really proud of her because she’s one of my favorite young players and has so much raw talent. Mo stepped up as best she could, but they still need another big. They’re running out of time to make a trade and figure something out.

Tonight the offense ran fantastically because of Caitlin Clark… because she played her style (fast, in transition, etc) and everybody fell in line and stepped up. And Stephanie White got the fuck out of the way. If she stays the fuck out of the way, then they might stand a chance of going a lot further than they otherwise would have.

Notice every time Clark took a seat they would lose the lead that she would establish. That cannot keep happening. That kind of shit… having no reliable depth at the bench is going to be a problem in the postseason.

But the big issues were mainly on the defense and SW is supposedly some “brilliant” defensive minded coach yet it is the defense they continue to struggle on endlessly.

Caitlin Clark was statistically literally the best defender on the team tonight by far and when that’s happening, you know you’ve got a problem. She’s not bad on defense the way people always love to falsely claim but she’s obviously not a defensive demon… except for tonight apparently lol. Big big defensive moments tonight from her. Four steals, two blocks — including at very key moments. And nobody can bitch about turnovers btw because she only had four total (including zero in the second half).

It was a generational, record-breaking performance from Caitlin Clark. Kelsey Mitchell did her job but she almost blew it no less than three times when it was down to a crazy tit for tat battle at the end and I was about to snap lol. But generally, she did her part. KK was great on the boards. Mo was solid. Everyone else pretty much was kind of awful yet again though.

Let’s see how they do against the Liberty tomorrow. It’s back to back, so I’m sure they’re all gonna be tired. And CC played her literal ass off. But let’s hope for the best. Especially with AB back in the lineup. If Stephanie White continues to stay the fuck out of Caitlin Clark’s way, and the defense can actually step up… there is hope for finishing out the season strong.

Ok, thank you for the follow up clarification. There were a couple people that had major one-sided beef with me back in the day and I thought maybe this was one of them. And I was about to be so tired. I appreciate the follow up.

Yes, I’ve been a day one WNBA fan and I come and go every couple years depending on whether or not I’m really attached to a certain team or a certain player, Clark just happens to be my current favorite player. Previously I was Liberty fan for a few years. Before that, I loved the Comets. But my OG favorite team were the LA Sparks. My OG goat is Lisa Leslie. 👑 I still have my old 1997 jersey for her. Heh.

The Clark stuff is just frustrating because it’s ironically a lot like the Supercop stuff in that fans are getting a bad rep over the actions of a small portion that are just garbage that she has absolutely nothing to do with and has publicly distanced from (but people pretend like she hasn’t). And it’s all just a load of shit and I hate this for the women of the WNBA and I hate this for her and I hate the nonsense and so I speak on it. Especially the fact that she’s got a lot going on behind the scenes with this atrocious team.

When I care, I speak. I do this with fandom heavily, especially.

Also sometimes politics and world events and activism, etc -- moreso on other sites (and only to a degree as not to turn people's timelines into doom and gloom with everything going on).

I also speak often on some things in particular, due to a combo of hyper fixations and passion lol. And answering Anons. But of note, I don't speak unless I'm truly informed b/c I cannot stand misinformation. I don't believe in one speaking on what one don't know shit about as if they are an authority. So if I'm speaking a lot on something, it's because I know enough to be confident to speak on it. And when presented with new information, of course I will appropriately adjust/switch up. And if I make a mistake, I will apologize. It's really not that hard to do.

I mean, that show ended 5 YEARS AGO and you're bringing up how I post on my own blog as if you have a problem with it or there's something wrong with it. Kinda odd to still have some sort of one-sided issue with me a half a decade later yet still be following along, tbh. But I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt here. Which feels like more than you seem to provide toward me. After all these years I think I've made it quite clear I have zero ill-intention when I post. And I'm as honest and authentic as possible, and even try to clarify when something gets twisted. And there's no self gain to be had here, for that matter. If anything, it opens me to some hate and even possible backlash with some people online and IRL.

Or, I'm selective anyway. I only put out like 10% anyway. Which kind of says a lot, about how much bs really goes on.

Some of the stuff I get from someone with a FO contact I selectively push out b/c I want them to know people know. But without making it so obvious who it might be that that person loses their job.

I talk to 2 people with a total of 4-5 direct connections between them. So there's source info coming from numerous places and directions. All proven reliable and accurate.

We gotta stay on them for their mistreatment and lack of protection of not even just CC but the players in general. They don't look out for anyone the way they should. They let Boston and others be subjected to disgusting racial rhetoric and racism and DO NOTHING, but then speak up when opponents have something happen that causes outrage.

They had a player in 2024 that was amazing as a human, and she personally liked and worked well with CC ad her style of play, etc that they coulda kept but they fumbled their handling of the controversies and racial abuse.
