and you've been chewed up and spit out by life over and over again and you're not healed and maybe you never will be all the way but every day you try. you're making a life for yourself, making a career that you're fucking good at, starting to make friends, and if you fail you just keep trying. and you care about doing the right thing. you hide behind a shell but you fucking care. so much.

So happy to here this :) I’m proud of her, it’s been getting to a point where it just seems like the media, the league, the fans, the fever all are waiting for her to fail and blame everything for. I’m also annoyed how some people who’ve spoken highly of her have succumb to these awful agendas when they themselves know nothing of the situation.

In more ways than one might think…
One person can only take so much, so it’s so like damn… finally… good for her, but a lot is actually ultimately also going to help the team collectively because none of the players are thriving under the current conditions. And they all like her, and though she is not without flaw she has not been the problem btw despite haters and talking heads engaging in smear campaigns. It’s been… just so much else. Media, coaching, FO, etc.
Should see some differences on the court soon and hopefully some relief off the court as well.
Of course everything can always be immediate. I’m not sure how Atlanta game is going to go. Hopefully they can figure out the better methods in time to start stacking some wins though and make watching the Fever fun again and turn the season around.

Just watched the series finale of Hacks through blurry vision because I was weeping for a good portion of it.
It might be a truly perfect show. I have mixed feelings about THE choice, and I knew they’d go there. But the way they gave it that beautiful twist at the end?
BRAVO.
