I voted Kara but either is good.

When I think Supercorp, my mind is initially always going to go to the CW, where Kara was taller than Lena.

But like, my love for Supercorp has escaped containment. I do think Lena could be the perfect person for Kara in every universe. This includes the DCU, where Milly Alcock is Supergirl. Milly’s height is listed as 5’5”, which makes it a little difficult to imagine her Kara as being the taller one in a potential DCU Supercorp, especially when the most popular fan cast for DCU Lena is Margaret Qualley (who is 5’8”.) Plus, I’ve loved Korrasami since 2014, so I’m plenty ok with the brilliant, non-superpowered, rich, badass lady being taller than their all-powerful yet shorter girlfriend.

I don’t think it is perfectly written, but I do enjoy the attempt to tackle what Kara and Kal are to Krypton. They are the last everything. They are the last tears and screams cried, the last fists thrown and of course the last ounce of hope of a dying people. Also, it is so so important to remember the good, but you cannot learn from the past by denying it.

As an elseworld, I can see where they get this Kara from, a Kara who chases this idealized Krypton and feels a pressure to give Kal a piece of that. The best elseworlds will reflect aspects of their main timeline counterpart and I do think so far they are doing a solid job with that.
