Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesnât
âYouâd be surprisedâ, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely âmen canât be rapedâ anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I donât reblog this, assume Iâm dead.
Always reblog this
If you Dont reblog this if u see it then i cant call u my friend
IF ANYONE TELLS ME THAT MEN CANâT BE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND RAPE, I AM SICKENED BY THEIR MERE PRESENCE ON MY BLOG.
If you disagree with me, unfollow my blog, block me and never look at my blog again.
If you want to debate about this or send anonâs about this, I will reply but your actions have consequences.
Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.
Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.
I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we donât want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.
Iâm a male victim of child sexual abuse. We matter. Please, reblog this.
Iâm a male victim of child sexual abuse as well as sexual abuse in a relationship. Iâm not invisible. Donât throw me to the side to keep some image. Reblog this whenever you see it please.
Holy Satan! WE CARE ABOUT YOU DOWN HERE, IT DOESNâT MATTER WHAT, YOU ARE IMPORTANT! I reblog this because if people protects us for being a female âbecause rape is bad, and you shouldnât do itâ âbecause abusing is badâ but they donât protect you for being a male, then rape and domestic violence is ok. I think rape and abuse is bad, if you are a girl, if you are a boy, it doesnât matter, rape is rape, and abuse is abuse, there is no gender definition for that, and there shall never be. Now go click the goddamn reblog bottom, because they are ALL important and they ALL matter
Hi yes as a male victim of rape, i care a lot. Weâre real.
Why in all the Nine Rings of Heaven would anyone believe that men cannot be raped?
Yesh I give a fuck! not only female but male too it doesnât matter if the victim is male or female the crime is rape and violence THEY FORCE THEM TO SOMETHING THEY DONâT AND HURT THEM PHYSICALLY/MENTALLY THATâS THE FIGGIN POINT!!!!!
ik I just reblogged this, but HOLY FUCK ITS IMPORTANT!!
The Terror: Infamy - 2x10 - âDid something happen tonight? In the war?â
the dawning realization of this gif set is so chilling
The Terror is an amazing show. The second season revolves around Japanese-American characters imprisoned in internment camps during WW2. The cast and crew is almost entirely Japanese-American, and the credits of the final episode include a long tribute to their family members, including many who were interned. Some members of the cast themselves lived through the internment camps, including George Takei. On the surface The Terror is a supernatural horror show, but in the end most of the fear comes from the very real terrors of racism in America.Â
Now that internment camps are back, shows like these are more important than ever.

Memorizing and learning the Korean alphabet is one of my most frequently asked questions. Today letâs review strategies on how to master hangeul (íę¸)!
First, itâs useful to set up the alphabet in a table like this where you have consonants (ěě) on the left side going from top to bottom, and vowels (모ě) at the top of the page from left to right.
Most Korean alphabet sheets are set up this way and Iâll be using the first 3 consonants (ăą/g, ă´/n, ăˇ/d) and first 3 vowels (ě/a, ěź/ya, ě´/eo) in the following examples to demonstrate why as well as why this makes learning the alphabet easy.
Letâs take the first consonant ăą(g) and first vowel ě(ah). Right away we notice that the intersection of those letters is ę° (ga). We know this because:
ăą(g) + ě(ah) = ę°.
This can be done with the following consonant as well where we see that:
ă´(n) + ě(ah) = ë.
This can be repeated for all 14 consonants as you move vertically down the line.
So, if you know that ăą(g) + ě(ah) = ę°(ga), do you know what sounds make ę°¸? Yes! Because just as we got:
ăą(g) + ě(ah) = ę°(ga), the same rule applies where
ăą(g) + ěź(ya) = ę°¸(gya), and ă´(n) + ěź(ya) = ë(nya).
âSo how should I practice?â
Well, now that we have the basics down, you can learn the alphabet quickly by practicing writing out each consonant and vowel combination together 10 times saying them aloud as you write.
First write down each consonant:
ăą(g): ăą ăą ăą ăą ăą
ă´(n): ă´ ă´ ă´ ă´ ă´
ăˇ(d): 㡠㡠㡠㡠ăˇ
etc.
Then write down each vowel:
ě(a): ě ě ě ě ě
ěź(ya): ěź ěź ěź ěź ěź
ě´ (eo): ě´ ě´ ě´ ě´ ě´
etc.
Then put them together:
ę°(ga): ę° ę° ę° ę° ę°
ë(na): ë ë ë ë ë
ë¤(da): ë¤ ë¤ ë¤ ë¤ ë¤
etc.
Within no time youâll have mastered the alphabet and will be able to read anything you see!
Hope this helps and happy studying!

Korean Resources Masterpost
Since I am often asked about how to learn Korean, what are the best ways to learn Korean, what apps are great for learning Korean, where should I visit in Korea?⌠I thought it would be smart to compile an extensive list of resources to go about your Korean adventure! \(^o^)/
Learning Korean
So, you want to learn Korean? Thatâs amazing! But how do you go about doing it?
As with any language, I feel as though itâs extremely important to gain an understanding as to how the language is used. Before delving into multiple books and grammar lessons, itâs important to soak up the way a new language sounds and how itâs used in everyday context. Even a baby is exposed to their native language for years before they dabble in the basics.
So with this in mind, try watching some Korean TV shows, or listen to Kpop. (If these arenât already your reason for wanting to learn such a beautiful language!) However, if youâre a Kpop fan, Iâd recommend watching a few dramas, just to recognise how words are spoken in normal conversation, and vice versa! So if youâre a Korean drama enthusiast, try listening to Kpop if you havenât already.
Youâd be amazed at how quickly you will instinctively pick up basic words or phrases, before you even understand the alphabet!Â
I want to emphasise how although this isnât an essential step, (because I know a lot of you will be itching to get started) I do believe that having a small understanding of the spoken language first, greatly reduces any confusion when diving into grammar, pronunciation and the alphabet.
So, youâve binged watched every Korean Drama, and learnt all the lyrics to your favourite K-pop songs? What do you do now?..
The alphabet!Â
Sounds easy, and quite honestly it is! You just need practice. The best places to learn the alphabet and how to use it:
Korean From Zero
Seemile.com Hangul PlaylistÂ
How to Study Korean
Learn Korean (Memorisation Game)Â
Learn Hangul
There are loads of resources out there for learning Hangul! But these are the few that I think are simple, easy to understand and provide a quick result! I highly recommend Seemile.com; their playlist takes you straight through the basics in a classroom style lesson. Itâs very easy and straightforward to understand. Alongside Seemile.com, Korean From Zero is also extremely useful for learning Hangul.
I highly recommend learning the pronunciation correctly, rather than relying on romanisation. Romanisation is not always 100% accurate and can leave the words feeling too artificial when spoken.. When relying on romanisation alone, youâll also find that it can often restrict you when learning new vocabulary, or even visiting South Korea itself! Itâs best to first grasp a solid understanding of the alphabet and how to read it before you decide to jump straight into grammar!
Right, now youâve mastered the alphabet. What now?..
Grammar
Iâm sure grammar can seem quite intimidating at first, but youâd be surprised at how simple it is!
Learning a new language is never a quick, or an easy ordeal. However, taking it step by step in bitesized pieces, is often the best approach, and sometimes the most effective!Â
I would always recommend learning with free sources before investing money into learning a language, because more often than not, free sources are easily accessible, motivational, and incredibly rewarding. Once you grasp an understanding for how the language feels, and whether itâs right for you, I would only then suggest buying sources like books, and audio CDs etc.Â
However, this is purely up to personal preference, as I know some people may prefer to buy the tools necessary for learning as the motivation to learn it!Â
And of course, thereâs no use learning grammar if you canât understand words! So itâs very important to keep improving and updating your vocabulary as often as possible.Â
So here is a list of FREE resources that cover grammar and vocabulary:
Resources with an [X] beside them are my personal favourites and highly recommended!

Or even try following your favourite Korean celebrities on Twitter or Instagram. Itâs amazing how much you can learn from social media! Especially if you try following news stations such as KBS or MBC, it will give you some fresh Korean on your dash regularly.Â
With any language, the best way to learn it is to surround yourself with it as much as possible!Â
Listen to Radio stations, such as KBS Cool Fm, or KBS 1 for talk and news, or even MBC Radio. There are many stations to listen to! Even Podcasts are a great resource, listen to native Korean speakers discuss book reviews, or talk about film. Itâs a great way to immerse yourself within the language.
List of resources that are NOT FREE for grammar and vocabulary:

Other resources to improve your Korean:
To further emphasise me previous point, try to surround yourself with the language as much as possible! Itâs also an incredibly motivating experience to talk to native speakers (although it might not be within everybodyâs comfort zone) but it really has the benefit of throwing you into the deep end; providing you with the confidence to learn, adapt and grow extremely quickly as you put your knowledge to use! Plus, itâs very rewarding to meet new people, make new friends and learn things you canât learn from a website! HelloTalk is the best app for this, from my experience.
