Yet another TFNation desk buddy, this time it's Prowl from 2008's Universe toyline. I am quite fond of this mold, having previously restored Bluestreak, so I was very glad to find Prowl for cheap with no sticky paint and only some slight yellowing of the white plastics! A lovely old toy.
It really is such a shame that this figure and his moldmates are all seemingly not long for this world, as for his age he is crazy good

one time i was making potato soup and i needed broth for it but i was out of broth. but in my dog food cabinet there was a carton of chicken broth that i had bought for my dog. now the box did say HUMAN GRADE and the ingredients were just bog standard chicken broth. it did say something about joint health for dogs on there. but the ingredients were normal. i even compared the ingredients list to some normal person broth and they were the same. so i did put dog broth in that soup and it did taste completely normal. but i did use the dog broth.

It's likely not a surprise that I also got the chase figure from Shining Version 5, which is this very interesting Optimus Prime that's part clear, part metallic - A very Defender Version-like idea I feel. The standout here though is definitely the alternate opened chest, which looks tremendous lit!
I, of course, got the chase version of Rodimus Prime from Galaxy Version 10, and he is, of course, absolutely gorgeous. Unlike most of the recent chases he's simply a posh shiny version of the original, but he does come with a very nice new Matrix accessory and matching effect part. Lovely stuff!
Today's desk buddy was another very lucky TFNation find, Generations Selects Tigertrack! I've been after this figure for some time, and while unfortunately he is lacking his weapons I'm just grateful to have finally gotten him for so cheap - He even came with a nifty 3D printed spoiler!
