I go to Japan a lot, so I always grab them when I’m in town. If you live in an area with a Daiso, they sell them. Sometimes, local Japanese-ran stores have them! If all fails, here’s a link to one on Amazon. Good luck! :D

Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’m honestly quite new to Tumblr. Jess was the one to convince me to finally try it out, and she introduced me to the world of studyblr. I’m glad she did because I’m now obsessed! Once school starts back up in August, I’ll be taking so many AP classes… I don’t even remember how many I signed up for… YIKES!

For the short amount of time I’ve ventured through studyblr, I’ve found it to be a great way to motivate myself to make my studying and note-taking not only useful, but beautiful as well! I know this amazing community will help me keep my grades up and be so useful. I’ve never seen such an inspiring group of people before!

Some facts about me:

• I LOVE YouTube. Some favorite channels are PsychoSoprano (and all of her friends and familiy’s channels), Grace Helbig, Dodie Clark, and LeafyIsHere.

•  So far, I’ve taken 4 AP classes.

• I’m currently tied for first in my class of over 500 students. (Who am I tied with, you ask? JESS’S BROTHER. Lol. scary.)

• I’m a hafu. (Half Japanese, half American.)

• I technically live in Tennessee, but I live in Tokyo every summer to look after my grandparents for about two months.

• I really like to sing. I used to be in theatre, but I’ve turned to choir for a more unbiased side of the arts.

• Hufflepuff, Scorpio, introvert

Hey, I love that you’re considering the same courses! I’m planning to head immediately into grad school after graduation (night courses, so I can work during the day) and I was hoping to get into corporate finance or consulting, or, if I wanted to work in the public sector, try and shop around for jobs in DC in diplomats offices! I also have the option of joining the foreign service, which has an officer’s track in economics. My dream is to one day do my PHD at the London School of Economics, but of course that dream’s a long ways off 😂.

So this is going to be split in two pieces, for the sake of the fact that there are two of us. When Amanda’s intro goes up, I’ll link it here

Hey! I’m Jess, and I’m a bit of a lurker in this community since my sophomore year in high school, and now that I’ve graduated and am heading off to college I figured there was no better time to get involved! I’m heading off to the wonderful state of Illinois for my undergrad, to double major in economics and foreign language/international trade with a focus in Mandarin Chinese. 

I have always been a dedicated student, but the studyblr community has been so motivating and inspirational to me in the past, and I believe I can honestly credit it with my success in high school. There have been many ups and down in my academic career, but with the support and inspiration I found in this tag I not only survived but thrived, and for that I am forever grateful.

Some facts about me: 

• My favorite book is On The Road by Jack Kerouac!

• I took 15 AP classes in high school 

• I graduated salutatorian of my class of 490 students 

• I’m an Italian American, from a stereotypical Italian American family 

• I was born in Florida but am currently living in Nashville 

• I adore films, Netflix political dramas (@houseofcards), skincare and cosmetics, Harry Styles, gourmet coffee, Thai food, and pretentious English literature! 

• ESTJ, Slytherin, Aquarius (but, truth be told, I’m got the personality of an Aries)
