the whole brienne deserves better than jaime thing is hilarious in a canon context, especially when people frame it as if it's a result of a self-esteem problem or deliberately choosing unattainable men or whatever. because she canonically rejects two suitors who actively want to marry her, beating one to a pulp and threatening to geld the other. she's like i want the hottest man in a hundred mile radius or i'll die alone actually

i do think i will always deeply love the mentalist because the premise of carefree genius man who lies as much as he breathes because he can't ever allow himself be truly open, falling for a woman who is honest and no nonsense, and who hates lies and believes in justice and doing what's right at all costs and her being the only one to truly care about him sdgfdosh

The thing I noticed about not just Jane but also Lisbon in season 7 is just how much more they smile and are happier than the previous seasons because they’re together. They literally make each other happy and smile when they’re together compared to when they’re apart because they help fix each other and build the other one up when they’re at their lowest or most vulnerable. The both emit so much joy/happiness together that it becomes undeniably contagious for them both.

I love how Jane always makes himself comfortable at strangers houses. He's like "We're here to investigate a crime but let me make a cup of tea and a sandwich first". And the people are always like "What is he doing? He's not supposed to be doing that." And Lisbon just lets him do his thing and is always like "Don't mind him, thats his normal behaviour"
