Here we go again! One year later, and a more thorough search of the archives, has resulted in an updated overview of the biggest collections of anime/cartoon fanfiction on Archive Of Our Own. Bonus facts: There are allegedly 38,500 more fanfics in the My Hero Academia collection since my count this time last year. Other fandoms with notable growth in the last year include Voltron: Legendary Defender, Naruto, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Miraculous Ladybug, Haikyuu!!, Hetalia, and RWBY (in that order). ———- My guidelines for this project: (1) Series must be animated; web-comics don’t count. 
(2) Same universe / different characters; sorted as separate series. For example, Yu-Gi-Oh! vs TMNT. 
(3) Series can be based on games. For example, Dangan Ronpa. 
(4) This list is fan-made and may bear inaccuracies.
