i want to share your mouthful e. 7.4k. in which atsumu's oral fixation is explored in great detail. need i say more, with a rating like that?

Same Roaches, Different Walls t. 20.3k. if you ever felt lost in life, this is an echo to that. atsumu moves out, loses his way, and eventually finds it back. as i get older, fics like these become much more relatable, and i'm utterly grateful for them.

in lover's eyes, there is… t. 26k. atsumu watches the people around him fall in love and doesn't think he'd experience it, until he does. lovely character interactions and outsider povs to sunaosa, arankita, and bokuaka, and finally, sakuatsu <3

denial is a river in egypt, atsumu e. 186.9k. 22/22. i've been following this since the 8th chapter and every update was. a ride. the word count might look scary but it's worth it - atsumu doesn't think he's gay, until he is. lots of discussion of sexuality, homophobia, self-acceptance, and eventual getting together. quite a powerful piece, do give it a shot!

bokuaka

Remember When t. 12k. snippets of conversations shared between bokuto and akaashi that track their friends to lovers pipeline. i really like this style of narrative; it's not too non-linear, in-character, and totally on point. one of my favorites <3

If You Rewrite Your Life (May I Still Play A Part?) g. 8.4k. akaashi thinks he can handle bokuto and the 3rd years graduating. (spoiler: he cannot.) lovely prose and getting together at the end!

you fell in love with the sunshine, and you took a walk with a boy (you spent half a year on the verge of tears just because nothing ever feels like it did before) t. 8.8k. akaashi is overflowing with words yet only chooses to say a few. very poetic and beautifully written!

matsuhana

my heart beats for contract law t. 4.4k. matsuhana. a short college au of matsukawa taking care of hanamaki while studying for finals. and of course, top-tier banter.

If You Do t. 9.1k. matsukawa gets caught up on the idea of proposing to hanamaki. love, love proposal fics, especially ones as chaotic as this one!

kuroken

i'm not too far and you're my favorite place e. 8.5k. 5 times kuroo pops a boner around kenma and 1 time he decides to do something about it. nothing like popping a boner to realize you're attracted to your best friend, am i right?

Black Magic t. 13.6k. magic college au where kenma is floating by aimlessly and kuroo is a regular at the convenience store he works at. love the worldbuilding, the gradual falling in love, and all the supporting characters.

kagehina

Flying from a Home to Another t. 3.5k. hinata says goodbye to brazil to return home to japan (and kageyama). what i love about this fic is all the small, mundane details that hinata will miss, and how brazil embraced him as one of their own. i just love fics about his time in brazil.

Just the Two of Us m. 17k. kagehina. somehow, msby4 hangs out with kageyama more than his own boyfriend. absolutely hilarious and so, so fluffy. i enjoyed this one a lot <3

sunaosa

More Than Just a Wrong Number m. 8.8k. sunaosa. suna calls the wrong number to rant about atsumu but the mysterious man on the other end doesn't hang up. lots of fun shenanigans and a nsfw conclusion!

lover's wager t. 10k. suna makes a bet with osamu that he can get osamu to fall in love with him in 10 weeks, and osamu accepts. we stan dense af osamu because he's very dumb but eventually comes around.

Falling In Love With A Miya t. 10.9k. suna's unrequited crush on atsumu eventually morphs into a crush on osamu. love the best friend dynamic between suna and osamu until it turns into something more.

Paint Night t. 3.9k. sendai frogs and yachi. tsukishima organizes a paint and sip party at the museum and asks yachi to host it. koganegawa and kyoutani come to support him. just a short little fun piece!

Macaron Disaster t. 5.5k. tsukkiyama. yamaguchi tries making macarons for tsukishima for valentine's day. it goes as well as you'd expect, with a title like that x3

i've never had so far to go g. 14.6k. osamu-centric. osamu goes to tokyo to look for potential sites for a second onigiri miya but gains much more in the process. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE THIS YEAR (so far). beautiful prose and character development, lots of reference to food and just so much more ahh <3 be sure to read this!
