It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

In the RedactEDD au, Tord, in a fit of Panic trying to get a green-card to escape getting arrested promised to Fund Tom's film company if he agreed to marry him. y'know. For a green card.

The documents are shoddy but they are there. This bites them in the ass, however when Matt tries to get some information and has to try and get Edd and his own files from the DMV, but he lost his license, so they had to use Tom's.

Unfortunately, A co-worker of Tord's from the Red Army recognized him. Paul let them through but to avoid suspicion... they really had to SELL the whole "Married" act.

The kid was picked up by an ambulance 30 minutes later.

Now as an adult working in security I get SO MANY folks- upper-middle aged mostly- coming to me to 'rat out' people they think are faking it.

I was once sent into a bathroom because a client demanded that the "fucker won't get out, so good drag them out"- I was NEVER going to do that, so I did a wellness check instead. You know who it was? A person recently released from the hospital after a car accident. They had a hole in their skull and major hearing loss. They couldn't answer the owner because they couldn't HEAR the owner.

Another time about a homeless man who got around town by kicking the ground from his wheelchair. "You know he doesn't actually need that thing, his legs work fine, it's just for pity points"- Oh, so he's not paralyzed, his wheelchair is performative? Funny story Dale, I actually know that guy, he was backed over by a truck and has chronic pain from his shattered pelvis. But sure, let's make him stand up and walk everywhere so nobody feels too bad for him and tries to help him or something.

"She doesn't need that scooter, I've seen her get out of it."

Yknow, as a TordTom/TomTord shipper it kinda sucks a good chunk of people seemingly aren't acknowledging the amount of work it would've taken for Tord to make Tom's visor in the future AUs, and people either ignore the fact it was most likely Tord who made, or at least demanded for the creation of, the visor for Tom, or just kinda go the TBATF route of "it's just a Mind-Control Device" instead of fixing Tom's sight because of eye cancer

Like I personally feel like he was up for hours working on that visor after hearing about Tom's eye cancer, and was stressed because Tom lost his sight during surgery, losing sleep trying to find a way for fix his husband's sight

But whatever, just make it an abusive mind-controlling device, I guess

Making Starboy Tord non binary made sense to me, I think they really don’t care for the gender binary but I could also just be heavy self projecting.
