Going through detox sucks.

Had a good day today. My dad is out of town for the week, so I have the house to myself. Had to get up early to take him to the airport. After I spent some time wtith Rocku, A baby Robin that i found who needed help. Then I spent quite a bit lot of time with my baby daddy. I am now at home with baby Rocku blogging, watching Americas Next Top model, facetimimg baby daddy, and getting high. #WeLoveMeso! Meso was a non social bird, Rocku is a very social bird and lives in a flock. Rocku is different then Meso was. Meso was a hands off bird and prefered to by on her own doing her own thing and would come sit with me when she wanted to. Rocku is a hands on bird who likes cuddles and being right next to me. Rocku is a Robin who, like i said, lives in a flock and is protective of the members in †he same flock. Meso lived by herself and only was social during mating season. I love that I found Rocku! He is giving me another chance to raise a bird from baby to adult like I did with Meso. Rocku is a but more demanding then Meso was. He wants to be held, cuddled, and played with unlike Meso. Meso only needed me when she was hungry and couldn't feed herself. When Meso came to me, she was younger than Rocku is by about a month and she was disabled. Rocku is older than her and can already fly and is already starting to learn to eat on his own. He is also not disabled. Meso life span for her type of bird was three(3) years, and she lived for four(4). Rocku being a robin, is different. if he makes it past his first year of kife, will live up to five(5) or six(6) years. Rocku lives just about as long as parakeets. My oldest parakeet lived eleven(11) years my second oldest ten(10) years. I do not know if i will be releasing Rocku back out or not. That depends on soley on Rocku. Meso could not be realsed back out due to her being special needs. She needed human help to live a full life. For Rocku it depends on if he van find a flock to live with and how human friendly he becomes and if he can hunt and eat on his own. I used to run a bird rescue in my past and I currently own a parakeet and a pigeon, and I wouldn't mind having a Robin hanging around.
