My favorite part is to see everyone's reactions about him, i like seeing people either predict whats going to happen or surprised at how he subverts/acts against what they initially thought of him

My favorite by far has to be the dyle scene, We planned that scene from the minute dyle was introduced into dw, as originally he was just going to leave an oc behind to be killed by the searchers. Adding dyle to the story was just too perfect and made it 100x better.

Obviously the cups, shelly and sheba will always have more than just a piece of me in their writing, but Bendy is the main motivation of why i'm so excited for each new revelation about him :]

Matt remembers Laurel from their old class. They all went to school together which is why he was like "ay good for her" when he saw Laurel in the paper solving a high-profile case.

In her picture, he notices Edd in the background and is like "Hey. My old buddy! Maybe we could help eachother out!"

Only to find that this is the ONLY PICTURE OF EDD IN EXISTENCE.

Matt has to find answers and goes to laurel for free consultation.

Fortunately for Matt, Laurel is now way too curious. She doesn't remember edd, but she also knows so many memories just don't line up

She thought it was because of an old concussion but now things just aren't making sense anymore.

Matt can't pay her, but she wants answers regardless. She's indirectly affiliated with this random disappearance and she wants to know why and how.

I think that entirely depends on what the character did, and how you want them to react.

Do you want them to get better? Do you NOT want them to get better? Do you want to explore their inner turmoil? do you want to explore their thought process in AVOIDING the blame?

One thing that i see a lot of writers not do when writing a character who did bad things is focus on how their actions affected other people.

The reason i didn't like jax so much was because we never got to see her actions from other people's perspectives. It was always told to bolster her character rather than focus on the pain it caused the others. The audience wasn't unwilling to look past it, we just never had the chance to because the show constantly told us to excuse it, making ragatha, pomni, ribbit and hell even gangle into these super passive people who were determined to find some goodness in someone who never showed them the same, and yet the show constantly showed jax having inner turmoil and panic attacks, while having each character reach out and do the work for her to try and understand her.

Everyone did the work for jax, but it made every character INCLUDING jax really flat and boring. If you replaced ribbit with ragatha nothing would change about the story. Same with replacing ragatha with pomni and pomni with zooble and so on and so forth.

What you gotta focus on is what you want to show for the character. You have to tell the audience;

What did this character do? Why was it bad? why should we care that it's bad? Did it hurt anyone? How do they feel? Why should they forgive this character? Should they forgive this character at all??? Will the character continue to try and be better even if no one forgives them?? Will the character get worse??? if they do get worse, How will you tell the audience NOT to be like this?

Obviously i'm generalizing based on little things that i've seen from different stories. I don't know your story but i REALLY WANT TO!!!!

Again i'm not perfect nor am i acting like i am, i just hope these little questions help you bolster yr character!!!

Tbh for how much i did not like the movie or the ending, the theatre experience was what made it so worth it lol

We were in a really lively theatre, obviously with a bunch of kids, but there were ppl our age and older as well.

We all sang along to Caine's song, the kids would shout things at the screen that had us chuckling fondly, one guy behind us was so done with all the characters and at one point caine was like "Was i really that bad...?" and bro said "Yes."

I would turn to my friends during a bunch of different scenes and we'd react in tandem, and funniest of all: THE INFAMOUS CAPCUT EDIT "ISNT SHE LOVELY" MOMENT

I ALMOST PASSED OUT FROM LAUGHING THE WHEEZE I LET OUT I SAW STARS AND BLACK SPOTS I COULDN'T BREATHE

So tbh, the theatre experience was so much fun, i couldn't hate it.

I need to draw Laurel more she's important and I love her
