Tori is actually really outgoing. She loves to be outside and explore and forage and is always looking for something to do. I imagine she works in historical studies and loves to find caverns and temples all indiana jones style.

Tamara is more of a magnet for the magical which is why she doesn't go out much. She's more of an indoors-y person who likes to chill out on the couch and watch movies rather than go out.

This is where the two of them clash, As Tori has very high energy and Tamara does not. Despite this, Tamara actually ends up in many predicaments on her own and Tori loves to go on these adventures to help Tamara out. You could say that Tori likes saving her :]

Tamara is actually into more "masculine" things, and Tori likes to be more "Feminine" Depspite how they dress. Tori grew up thinking she had to be a perfectly well mannered girl while Tamara grew up with a lot of restrictions. Now that they are grown and figuring themselves out, Tamara expresses herself more openly and Tori indulges in being rambunctious and high energy and still retaining her femininity!

Some stuff that their male counterparts share

Tom/Tamara

- Both eat inedible things

- Both have demonic origin

- Both like Ska/punk

- Both play bass

Tord/Tori

- Both want to get buff

- Both academically gifted and have a love for discovery

- Both had older siblings that they looked up to

- Both not very talkative (very emotive, however!)

Now what they don't share

Tom/Tamara

- Tom likes wearing dresses, Tamara doesn't

- Tamara is scared of the ocean, Tom is not

- Tamara is way more open about her feelings, Tom is a bit of a lockbox

- Tom was a Jehova's witness, Tamara is Jewish (from the art with her and a Menorah :])

Tord/Tori

- Tord sucks at history, Tori loves it

- Tori sucks at engineering, Tord loves it

- Tord hates going outside and touching grass, That's all Tori wants to do

- Tord has war/army ambitions and world domination, Tori studied history and knows what a bad idea that is

i think they're pretty neat :D

I only ask all the rp blogs that if you are going to incorporate more of the serious topics in the comic into the roleplay that you atleast tag it and try to be as respectful as possible

This is not to shame or call out anyone i just know that the comic can get dark and I didn't want anyone to get hurt while in a headspace they aren't comfortable in!

To answer:

our goal is to make the readers decide for themselves. I'm not gonna tell you who to sympathize with and i'm not going to tell you who to hate.

Our main goal with these characters is to show the readers that there is so much going on behind the scenes of every action a character takes. I'm not gonna tell you to like a character just because they do likable things. Thats your decision to like them or hate them.

All the characters are flawed. Not perfect. Thats the point of morally grey, there is no black or white. Its up to you if you wanna accept them.

Just because they have good income doesn't mean it's INFINITE income. They are well off, but its been years now. Mickey has been dealing with more of the treasury now that Oswald has been out of commission. mickey is SUPPORTING them, not funding them.

You saw that Mickey was going to replace Oswald with Felix if he did the job right. But he didn't.

Also, In a way, her job is the only way she can justify going out and talking to people without feeling the guilt of leaving her siblings at home. some of you Eldest children can relate to that i'm sure.

The important thing to remember about siblings is that they aren't just friends, they are a part of your existence whether that be a good thing or a bad thing.

They are the one person in your family that'll have a different outlook on your life and your shared experiences that will either validate you or humble you.

Siblings are hard to write for many because they aren't friends and "family" feels not enough.

Somethings that i can say to do are to have your sibling characters share their own version of communication. I'm not saying that they should speak pig-latin for kicks randomly i'm saying that they will understand eachother's moods and movements more than others would whether it be intuition, experience, or recognizing those patterns from themselves/their parents.

Siblings will have the same experiences as each other but can have wildly contrasting and clashing thoughts or emotions about the incident.

Take mugman's good dream versus cuphead's good dream. They both had a moment with Elder kettle that was nice, but while Elder Kettle was the focus in Mugman's dream, we didn't even see his face in Cuphead's.

This tells us they have very different thoughts on remembering him why? (wait and see lol)

In conclusion, my advice is that your siblings need to understand each other in a way that no one else will and that's either going to be really healing, or really annoying.

Make the siblings their own characters, but don't ignore their connection.

ALSO DON'T MAKE THEM REFER TO EACH OTHER AS "SIS" AND "BRO" LIKE ANIME DUBS NO ONE SAYS THAT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ITS POOR TRANSLATION.
