Does he buy things for the other clones? Like furniture, games, food and stuff so they aren’t just stuck in a pure white room?

I don't think film buff Tom really thinks about a disguise, I see him being too aloof to think that far ahead, kind of a free spirit (hehe). he is out there fully Toming it.

that being said, i do not think its an issue, the big city is big. there was the one time he ran into edd, thought he was the real tom deciding to t-shirt it up for some reason, he had a pleasant chat! Thomas was sweating bullets the entire time though, as aloof as i like to write him he is very self aware of his relationship to their prime counterparts. Nostalgic as it was to talk to edd again like old times, he also quietly blacklists that part of town to make sure it never happens again.

he does buy things for the other clones some times but not often, he kind of needs to be prompted before hand or he'll get caught up in the delight of looking at kittens and being at the black and white film festival all day. sometimes he'll get something if it reminds him of one of them, but his ass is not in ikea, i dont even think it occurs to him that he can get a second chair without larry's or bing's approval.

based on this ask from @tomatoredd! i constantly think about this. i love them. the reddlings. i consider it canon to what this is.

they are each 1/4th of redd, they arent complete people technically. they are still their originals in some respect, but some features are shifted, some things missing, some things that are suppose to be on someone else that's on another's.

ya know, stuff that clocks them as parts of a greater whole. (would probably be more if i chose to color this more lol)

tomatoredd i hc as someone who is as strong as the main four combined, but separate they are less than their primes. they technically was never their individual parts, came out the clone machine pussy fully formed as a crime against nature and got instantly shot into reject room #64. so dividing them, it makes sense to me that the scaffolding that makes them whole is unable to translate to being four individuals, making them a bit frailer, and well, cant help but still operate as one person sometimes.

if the other rejects paid attention, they would notice that even separate, they never really talk at the same time. they get kind of squirmy when not in each other's company or if there isnt a conversation filling the quiet. when they are around each other they kind of act as a single unit, anticipating each others actions before they make it. that ask i linked at the beginning puts it into words really well do give it a read!

torm also picks up on this to some extent, they are also a fraction of tomatoredd after all, intimately familiar with how redd communicates with themselves. doesn't make him any less stressed out by the situation. he also feel very at peace just hanging around them ironically enough.

i think eventually the tomatoreddlings just start hanging out closer and closer together until they just start acting indistinguishable to tomatoredd again but they are four guys, and then after sometime where no one is paying attention, they just, end up reforming. its probably best no one saw that process. gross.
