It has occurred to me that, though I've been on this site for roughly 14 years now, I have never made a proper introductory post.

Who am I?
The name is Tern Loresong, also sometimes Tern the Green. I am primarily a writer, bookbinder, and seamstress, though I have also dabbled in leatherworking, bead weaving, and oil painting. I do not use AI in creating any digital works. I am not merely ideologically against it- to use such a cheap shortcut to get to the end result completely takes all the enjoyment of creating out of it. Call me old-fashioned but I like to make things with my own two hands & brain.
My three main fandoms are Myst, The Lego Movie, and The Elder Scrolls. I also enjoy steampunk, 80s dark fantasy, nature photography, and art in various media- the more surreal/fantasy, the better.
I am: - an adult - she/her - aro/ace - ADHD - a writer - a bookbinder - a worldbuilder - permanently stuck in a daydream about owning a house & craft studio (and slowly going mad about it)

You can find my handmade books & other crafts at @scrollsnsketchbooks ! It is about 95% books right now, with only a handful of costume pieces, but I am slowly working on creating more stuff to post. I also have plans to get back into oil painting at some point.
I also have a handful of OCs and an original world I'm slowly making stuff for over at @archive-of-many-doors . I intend to have quite a bit of worldbuilding posted here eventually. I do take questions if there's anything you're curious about!
For The Lego Movie fans, I have @the-umiran-amulet , a massive fanfic project with the intent of reaching 300,000 words that also has a lot of worldbuilding, and I intend to draw an illustration for every chapter. I now also have @loresongs-legos where I will be posting various TLM art and backups of my stories.
