i love that there was definitely an intelligence briefing where someone in charge heard that there was a fake airfield in progress and went, "...hey you know what would be funny?" and then everyone else agreed it was indeed SO funny that they would devote man-hours and a sizable log to making a fake bomb to drop on it while being only somewhat busy fighting a war, but never too busy for a funny craft project

that pilot was probably laughing so hard after he pulled the trigger and turned back to whatever convoy i'm shocked he was able to keep the plane in the sky.

So I am treating myself to a day at Dashcon. Thing is I can only go one day and both Friday/Saturday have really cool things planned. Which day should I go? Please help me out.

one of the most upsetting things that we’ve lost through the development of social media was the idea of “kids only” spaces on the internet. like all those flash games and virtual worlds with moderated chats and all that are for the most part lost. an entire database of children’s artwork that provided them free brushes and digital artmaking tools completely gone ://// booooooo

if you’ve lil ones in ur life that like art: a lot of museums during quarantine created pages on their websites dedicated to kids’ artmaking tutorials. the tate modern museum is honestly a phenomenal example of this and they actually have their own mini collection of artwork based off of their tutorials that kids submit and have uploaded to their website
