fascinating dsmp/broader mcyt linguistic quirk by the way: we never call dsmp characters d![name]. its always c![name]-- c!tommy, c!tubbo, c!niki, etc. but for other servers the accepted standard is [server acronym] minus smp-- osmp tommy becomes o!tommy, qsmp philza becomes q!philza, etc. but because the usage of bangpath designation to indicate character vs content creator came into popularity during the dsmp era, the dsmp gets "character![name]", rather than being bound to the server name. at most you get dsmp![name] when talking about multiple versions of a character across multiple servers-- dsmp!tommy vs o!tommy --but even then like . its always the full government acronym dsmp, not d!tommy. this fascinates me immensely.
