This Could Be Better

Also as a baby trans man who was like already IN an all girls school (a womens only space if u will..) i was obviously like, well single sex spaces aren’t always going to actually be separated by gender the way people think they will be, bc for starters ppl are secretly (or non secretly) transgender and it’s all kind of ridiculous and arbitrary and fake. Idk I feel like some people buy into the whole like “women’s spaces are special sacred safe spaces where the wombyn all hold hands and sing songs” or something instead of it just being like.. groups, schools, medical centres, sports teams, a building.. and a bunch of other shit like. idk maybe this is just my perspective but these aren’t sacred holy womens spaces or something, they’re just THINGS and places. I feel like cis people put a lot of weight behind that concept but I don’t think it actually is as meaningful as they think. and cis people are not overly happy we exist in those spaces as trans men either. like I can agree it SHOULD be a trans positive move to say trans men shouldn’t be in those spaces (again, i don’t really WANT to be in them ever personally) but also it kind of ignores the realities of those spaces a lot of the time, and the fact that sometimes thats like the only option presented to you

i think one of the best parts about being a teenager in the early to mid 2010s was that cigarettes were definitely not cool anymore and vapes hadn’t popularized yet so my lungs made it out of my peak impressionable years relatively unscathed

The most recent Android update making it impossible to actually disable any AI features no matter what you do is surely a sign that this technology is the future and about to take off and make everyone SOOOOO much money that all the nay-sayers will be sobbing about how they were fools who should have listened and invested. Everyone knows you have a winning product if you have to uh *checks notes* trick and/or force people to use it against their will. Great job, everyone!
