Because that's what he does. He made the link rings to keep people dry. He makes things that are meant to bring joy and comfort to people. It's his whole thing. He will go well out of his way to ease people's burdens whenever and wherever he can. He's constantly thinking through every contraption he makes in great detail.

And there's something about him seeing on a personal level how someone can connect to what he refers to as 'what he's best known for' and also 'a simple spell'. Going so far as to say it's nothing to be impressed by.

I just finish my very first fanartvof Witch Hat Atelier! And my favorite, of course, are Orugio and Qifrey!

Also, I did this on Magma, so it's my first digital drawing since yeaaaaars!! But I liked it! Maybe I'll draw digitaly on CSP more often, with backgrounds and renderings and all the stuff^^

i'm a big sucker for a diegetic piece of art/literature serving as a mirror to the story's characters, so naturally the illustration of the poem about a silverleaf tree falling in love with a star from chapter 47 of WHA *had* to be redrawn as Qifrey and Oru ✨🍃
