It’s a perfectly rainy, gloomy day in california and the absolute perfect day to stay inside with a cozy cup of tea, get some studying done, and listen to some music. As much as I love going out with my friends, I have to say that I love being such a homebody. I’m hoping there are more fall days like this to come!

if you have a moment of admiration or love for someone, say it out loud

give random song recs and send them things that made u think of them

don’t say hurtful things especially if it’s not constructive

say “I love you” more often and spend more time with people you love

here’s some you’ve almost definitely heard:

1 - Heartfelt apology for the delay, full explanation for the various reasons behind it, and thanks to the readers for still being there.

2 - No excuse or apology at all, just agreeing in some way that the update is very late, and moving along.

Now, I have two rules: 

1) Put my explanation at the end of the chapter if I’m willing to share what happened; 

2) Never promise anything about a posting schedule, except something vague like “soon/soonish”. I know I post roughly twice a month, but sometimes I can’t. And that’s okay.

If you goal is to love yourself, then your focus is directed inward toward yourself, and you end up constantly watching yourself from the outside, disconnected, trying to summon the “correct” feelings towards yourself or fashion yourself into something you can approve of.

If your goal is to love being yourself, then your focus is directed outward towards life, on living and making decisions based on what brings you pleasure and fulfillment.
