It's so funny that some people are soooo angry at the fact that Leon was a bootlicker in Infinite Darkness

Like, my guy in umbrella, that's a cop. Leon is a white american cop in the 2000s that just came from a mission rewarded by THE US PRESIDENT, he is obviously a bootlicker since he was part of the system.

Regardless of intentions of wanting to protect Claire, his reasoning came from the copaganda he believes to. That's his whole arc, he HAS privileges, he has a hero complex, he still believes the system will work in his favor.

And then he loses Claire. And loses the president's favor in 6. And keeps losing in Vendetta. It's only in Requiem when he finally goes rogue that there's some light at the end of the tunnel. But like. He had to get a fucking slap to finally understand that Claire was right lol
