Imho we don't hate RenĂŠe enough. The way she dumped Charlie was directly a hate crime. Okay Iâm sorry, but why do yâall mourn for Charlie when he didnât fight RenĂŠe a bit to see Bella more? Itâs his own fault he didnât get more time with Bella. Bella didnât even want to come to Forks anymore, and barely knew Charlie outside of a couple weeks in the year. Thatâs HIS fault. Also, it was Bellaâs choice to pursue her lifeâs path. I donât understand this fandomâs obsession with turning Charlie, a grown man, into a victim. He treated Bella like an equal, not a child, so he knew the consequences. He is not a victim.

If Isabella Swan had just one close friend from Arizona, I don't think she'd want to turn into a vampire. If she had one actual, true best friend from years and years of ballet and surviving middle school together, and crying over boys together, and laughing and the crazy stuff Rene did together, she wouldn't give her up for immortality. She could not.
Think about how different Twilight would be if Bella wasn't written as a "not like other girls" friendless weirdo. Like, yes, obviously Smeyer wanted her to be strange because ultimately she was "meant to be a vampire" but the impact of a single best friend would change everything in the entire series. Having someone to actually keep a secret from would destroy Bella. She couldn't hide something that major from the person she had a Weirdo Bloodpact with. She couldn't tell her best friend something that would endanger her either.
Idk. Making Bella friendless was probably the cruelest thing Smeyer ever did to her. Even her Forks friends are incredibly shallow and impersonal friends. Angela wanted to be closer to Bella, but she wasn't sure how and Bella made it hard.

so close! the cullens constantly made metaphors about the pack literally being âmongrelsâ and implying they were less than human as if they werenât still very much alive and breathing!! and the cullens were 100x LESS human then the pack but still continued to act like the pack was less than them!
ohh but yeah youâre totally right thatâs all on the same level as the pack calling the vampires who were basically their oppressors âbloodsuckersâ and âleechesâ (as if thatâs not⌠literally what they are lmao?)
