MC and Suba encountered a seemingly harmless anomalie during a mission.
Suba dosent want to capture or destroy it believing it is harmless but MC has a gut feeling that the anomalie isn't as harmless as it appears. They get into an argument (angry Subaa♡) and eventually MC reluctantly agrees to let the little guy go, on thier way back to the express train the anomalie followed them in and that's where the facade fell and it attacked MC. with Suba's guard down he was unable to react fast enough, MC was able to dodge just far enough to avoid a critical hit(still got hitt! We love an injured MC)......blahblahblah Subaru defeated the anomalie and him and MC apologized and made up!♡♡♡

Towa hummed. You could feel his humming as he hugged you against his chest, encasing you with his signature scent of flowers and fresh grass and warm sunlight. You turned your head to look at the stars dotting the sky, each one sparkling and infinite.
“Pretty…”
“You’re pretty too, Dandelion~~”
Towa nuzzled your head in content as you blushed.
“Towa, you— you shouldn’t say that...”
“Why?”
“Because… I get embarrassed…”
“But you are pretty, Dandelion. You’re as pretty as the stars~~”
You hummed in response into Towa’s shirt, masking your shyness. He wrapped his arms around you even tighter, holding you like you were precious bouquet. Eventually, surrounded by his warmth, you gradually fell into a gentle slumber under the stars.

Hojicha
The aroma of freshly made tea wafted through the air as Subaru handed you your teacup. Today’s tea was hojicha, its soothing brown reflecting your face.
You took a tentative sip, Subaru anxiously watching your expression.
The tea tasted warm, like comfort, like bundling in a fuzzy blanket during the wintertime. It soothed your throat, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste that settled comfortably within you.
“It’s delicious,” You said quietly with a smile, not wanting to disturb the peace that surrounded you two.
Subaru smiled back, and took a sip from his own cup.
“I’m glad you like it.”
The rain pattered on the roof as you leaned your head on Subaru’s shoulder and closed your eyes, not realizing that the ghoul had blushed a beautiful shade of red at the proximity.
Sweet Comfort

The rain pattered on the ceiling of the cathedral, and it was to that peaceful sound to which you woke up.
Your physical state was, however, not peaceful at all.
Groaning, you could feel your throat drier than usual, a cough creeping out of your mouth. Your nose, well, one nostril was stuffed, and the other was runny, a decidedly horrible combination. Your head felt like it was stuffed with cotton, a headache sitting inside your brain like an unwanted visitor. You felt hot, but not hot enough to sweat, hotter than usual, but not like you finished running laps.
Reaching for your thermometer, you turned it on and stuck it under your armpit while staggering up from the bed for a glass of water.
The water was nice, until you choked on it halfway through.
Beep beep.
37.4°C. (99.32°F)
Well at least it’s a mild fever and you don’t have any classes today.
You decide to sleep it off.
Climbing back into the cozy covers, your eyes captured the time as 7:32 before you drifted off to sleep.
Maybe you’ll wake up at noon.

Elias strolled on the path to Clementia, rolling his usual lollipop between his teeth, twirling his umbrella, when he caught sight of that Vagastrom first year also walking up to the cathedral, a plastic bag in his hand.
Elias raised his hand in a wave.
The first year also waved back, surprise flitting across his face as he made his way toward the fourth year.
“You must Elias, right? Nice to meet you, I’m Sho.”
“Likewise. May I ask what is in that bag?”
“Oh, it’s just lunch for MC, ‘cause I was expecting them at the food truck, and they didn’t come. I’m a bit worried.” The ghoul’s blue eyes flicked towards the direction of the cathedral. “What are you doing here, by the way?” His voice sounded genuinely curious.
“Oh, I’m just taking a walk. I’m very partial to taking walks,” Elias replied in a neutral tone.
“So this is your usual route?”
“Oh no, I just happened to make this part of my route today.”
The rain pattered on both of their umbrellas. A small stream had been created on the ditch of the road, flowing into the drain.
“I could take her lunch to her,” Elias offered placidly. “Afternoon classes will soon start, and the buildings are far away from here.”
“Oh, uh, I usually don’t go to class,” the younger ghoul sheepishly said. “But I would appreciate if you could take it to them, I’ve got a mission this afternoon.”
“Of course,” he replied smoothly, taking the bag. He could feel the steam, and smell something aromatic and comforting.
“Thanks, man! See you around, I guess.”
Sho waved, jogging in the direction of Vagastrom, jumping over puddles, while Elias made his way to the large wooden doors of the cathedral.
He knocked twice on the smooth, dark surface.
No answer.
He knocked again.
Only hearing the rain, he stepped inside the cathedral, closing his umbrella, calling out,
“Inspecter, I’m coming inside.”
Noting the unfixed holes in the floor and spying the disastrous wreckage of the pews, Elias climbed up the creaking stairs to the second floor.
He knocked on your bedroom door twice.
Hearing nothing and getting slightly worried, he let himself in.
Setting the lunch Sho made on a nearby chair, he walked quickly to your bed, where you were breathing feverishly, eyebrows scrunched even in sleep as if you were uncomfortable, and you had kicked off your blanket, exposing your midriff.
Elias took off one glove and brushed your hair back to feel your temperature.
“You’re exhausted, I see,” he murmured.
But when he tried to retract his hand, you caught it with your feverish fingers and then blinked your eyes open.
“…Blegh… E..lias? What are you doing here?”
Your voice sounded terrible, and you eyes were focused somewhere around him, somewhat distanced.
“Shh, I’ve come to take care you, dear heart,” he replied with that signature smile of his. “Let’s get you some water, hmm?”
The cold water felt good against your throat.
“Are you hungry? Your friend Sho brought this for you… do you feel good enough to eat?”
You groaned, falling back into the sheets. “Nooooooo…”
“One bite, come on now,” he coaxed, somehow already sitting on your bed and supporting you back as he raised a spoonful to your lips.
Grumbling something intelligible, you tentatively sipped the soup.
It was… nicer than you thought. Mild spices but enough that you could taste the richness through your congested nose, soft vegetables and tender chunks of meat blending into a comforting harmony of umami.
“…more.”
“Demanding, aren’t we?” Elias chuckled, already raising another spoonful.
You ate slowly, taking time between sips of soup to occasionally blow your nose. Elias patiently matched your pace, even bringing the wastepaper basket closer.
After, you lay in your bed, listening to the rain pattering against the roof. Your stomach was full, your headache had dulled, and you felt sleepy. Elias was still sitting on the ege of your bed, stroking your hair with one hand.
A comfortable silence settled between the two of you.
Gradually, your breathing deepened and you fell asleep, lulled by the sound of rain and Elias’s gentle stroking. His gaze settled on your face, tracing your skin as if entranced.
For a while, time seemed to stop, serenity settling within your room.
