Hi! I've wanted to do this for a while, but the amount of work needed is...ugh. Anyway, let's test this out? This is my first time writing one, and my first time figuring out how to post it on Tumblr, so feel free to drop feedback on how it can be improved!
So, uh, further chapters are already planned out but not yet written. I'll try to hurry without letting quality spiral too much, but you know what, it could end up a shit show...

Being kidnapped is nothing new, right?
You wake up alone in a room completely made out of stone. It’s like one of those dungeons Contess describes when you play with her. The last thing you remember is a suspiciously shaped cloud raining purple raindrops on you, and then now you’re here. There’s nothing else in the room except a plain wooden door. In fact, it looks like someone slapped a piece of wood into the wall. No handles. No polish.
That’s alright. You are Merlin! So you cast a spell to detect dark magic.
Uh oh. Seems like the spell didn’t work. You try and cast another spell that launches fireballs. Nope. You don’t ever remember being this ordinary. Thankfully, another magic detecting spell, very beginner class, works. Somewhere in this place, something is suppressing your magic.
As nice as it is to get peace and quiet here, you are hungry and you suddenly remember the royal banquet. Slow roasted chicken, buttered potatoes, strawberry and cream cake…they all don’t exist here. So the goal now is: get out of here.
The wooden door opens with a pathetic push. To your left is a dead end, the walls made of the same stone as the room you woke up in. To your right, there is another door like yours. Further down the right is a long hallway lit with flickering torches. The air is chilly.
Curiosity kills the cat. You decide to leave your neighbouring door alone. What if there’s a monster in there? So you lighten your footsteps and sneak past the door. Just as you pass the door, you hear voices. Faint, male, multiple.
Alright now you’re curious enough to tiptoe to the door. Hey, you know that voice. And that one. And that one too.
Wow, looks like there’s a party in here? Four sets of eyes turn to look at you as you step in. Luckily, or unluckily, they’re all chained to the wall.
“Merlin!” Valen grimaces at the sight of you. “Not you too? Could have sworn I was kidnapped alone…”
Cyran looks haughty even in chains. “Look who it is. The great Merlin. Come to free us?”
“Thankfully you’re here.” Ravion is smiling. “I was beginning to tire of the company.”
Aurelian is silent until you look at him. Ah, you hadn’t forgotten how he tried to trap you with a contract. Despite so, he bows as much as the chains allow. “We meet again, Merlin.”
You’re a kind person, so of course you get to work on freeing them. You unchain Valen first. But as you unchain Ravion, the chains snap back onto Valen.
Well, well. Looks like now you have a choice to make.
Free Valen.
Free Cyran.
Free Ravion.
Free Aurelian.
