Ohhh, this is evil. Celine can feel him in her soul (or mind). She's trying to call to Rumi and/or the girls but they ignore her. She wanted to warn them but still they ignore her (if you're feeling cruel, they blocked her).

Days, weeks, months, Gwi-ma taunts Celine. Breaking one of the strongest hunter. A priceless and powerful tool for Gwi-ma to use. Celine, eventually break, when he hits the one spot. That she had failed Rumi.

Also, if we're going where Thirdlight dies. Imagine Miyeong and Thirdlight seeing this, screams and tries to get to her. Despite Miyeong being angry at Celine, she's not so cruel to let Gwi-ma possess her. So, she tries to get her daughter's attention to call or check up on Celine. But it's useless. They can only stare in horror, alongside the rest of the old hunters, as Celine's eyes turn dull. Gwi-ma's cruel laughter echoes in the afterlife and the new honmoon itself. He finally has the sole hunter for himself.

He doesnt even need to use all his powers, nor the honmoon when Celine herself had learned to fight without it. The new honmoon easily gets torn apart when the scythe that Celine had changed into a cruel and jagged version of itself and he cut the net easily.

everyone is questioning how this nepo baby pop princess is gonna be able to make it past the first day, with several people tuned in just hoping to see her crash out early on

but rumis been raised with a lot of survival knowledge. she knows how to start a fire, hunt, fish (with and without a pole), preserve food, make a cooking spit, etc

by the end of day 1, shes the only one with shelter. and its a good shelter too, one that people got to watch her build in real time. its sturdy, and warm, and somehow, inexplicably, made of WOOD. she actually built a little hut.

shes got enough preserved food to get her through several months ready by the time any other people have built proper shelter

millions of people watch as the queen of kpop gets through this competition effortlessly. no one can quite fully believe what theyre watching but they cant look away, and they have no choice but to start to believe

almost a month in, all but one other person is left. the weather has been a nightmare for the other contestants. people who were doubting rumi at the start are now her honest to god fans.

the last one other than rumi is cold and pale, shivering and struggling to make a proper fire. his food is dwindling. he’s not looking too hot, and people are pretty sure that if he doesnt just give up outright in the next day or so, hes gonna be med evaced

rumi looks just fine, health wise.

but shes clearly sullen. her health has stayed steady this whole time, but her mood has been nosediving over the course of the last few weeks

“its weird,” she says to the camera at one point, while chewing on a piece of jerky she made herself, “if i was doing this a decade ago, i would probably have been in good spirits right about now. i didnt have many people in my life who i could consider close to me. this isolation would’ve meant nothing to me.

“but since then, ive met mira and zoey. two people who i couldnt imagine my life without. whose souls feel so tethered to my own.” her voice grows rough. “these past few weeks have been agony without them. i havent even been able to hear their voices. look at their faces. my only solace is that my dreams are full of the two of them, and my mind has cataloged every detail about them to the most minute of them all, so their voices are closer to echoes in my brain than imitations, and their faces appear to me as vividly as if they were in front of me.”

she stares at the jerky in her hand. “i cant wait to go home to them. i wont quit, even though it kills me being away from them any longer.” she turns her attention back to the camera, and points at it, knowing her girls are watching her in that very moment. there are tears in her eyes. “just you wait, mira and zoey, im gonna win this whole thing, and when i do, we’ll never be apart ever again!” her lip wobbles, and the tears begin to spill. “i love you girls so much!”

(back home, mira and zoey clutch each other, sobbing as they watch her, “WE LOVE YOU TOO!”)

luckily, it only takes another day for rumi to win the show. her picture is shown next to those of the former winners at the end of the last episode, and the contrast between their end of show appearances (tired, malnourished, pale) and hers (well rested, full, flushed) is almost terrifying.

she doesnt get too much of a hit bc most people agree it was weird and creepy to do that

but see, the thing is, while zoey was angry about her girlfriends being creeped on like that, shes also mildly offended that anyone could ever write the best rumira fanfic besides HER.

and she proceeds to spend WEEKS slaving over the most beautiful, most intricate, most incredible rumira fanfic ever, and posts it online anonymously. it makes the rounds, at first by people who say that its insane to write it after RPF-gate, as theyre calling it, but then by people who start to realize how genuinely amazing it is.

eventually it even catches the huntrix teams attention, and a few people on their team who read it out of curiosity go “…huh. some of those details are a little too on the nose.”

even rumi and mira themselves get alerted to it. they start to question how such a fanfic could really “capture their souls in such a way that no other writer has before”, like some people are saying, when zoey approaches them.

“ive got something to show you guys,” she says, holding something behind her back

they share a look. “what is it, zo?” rumi asks her

zoey pulls it out. its a book. its beautiful. the hardback cover is lined in gold, the design on the front breathtakingly beautiful and detailed, and the title embossed in metallic purple and pink

“what is this?” mira asks, “another one of rumis romance novels?” rumi glares at her, offended.

“in a way, yes,” zoey replies.

“wait,” rumi says, realization dawning on her, “this isnt that fanfic thats making the rounds, is it?”

mira groans. “zo, i know you like to read fanfic of us sometimes, but didnt we just have a whole thing about this? why would we want a physical print of a fanfic about us?”

zoey pouts. “i worked hard on it.”

it takes them a moment to understand her meaning, but when they do, everything makes sense.

of course this fanfic that supposedly understands them and their love for each other better than any other fanfic ever written before would be written by the one person whos borne witness to said love firsthand, whos been a part of that love herself since the beginning

who better to “capture the essence of their souls” than their literal soulmate?

they read it, and realize that people werent lying, it truly is extremely beautiful. “maybe we should have zoey make that love song album she says shes been thinking about doing,” rumi thinks.

but they can’t help but notice something that makes the whole thing…not work for them

theyre crying by the end, but it’s not just because of the ending itself being wonderful, and zoey can tell.

“whats wrong?” she asks nervously, “did you not like it? i swear i can-“

“it was amazing,” rumi sobs

“wonderful work, you wrote so wonderfully, baby,” mira’s lips and shoulders tremble.

“then why are you crying?” she asks in distress.

“because it’s missing something,” rumi says

“what?”

“you,” mira looks up at her with wet eyes. “youre not in this at all. why didnt you include yourself?”

zoey shuffles uncomfortably. “well, its a rumira story. just you two, yknow? also its weird to write about myself like that. it feels a little y/n-esque.”

rumi drags her down onto the couch between them, and mira immediately wraps herself around zoey. “well we want you in it too. you wrote an ending that seems like its supposed to be happy.”

“well, i mean, yeah you two are together at the end, of course its happy-“

mira cuts her off, grabbing her face. “how are we supposed to have a happy ending without you?”

zoey cant breathe after that. “oh.”

(cut to zoey getting her happy ending 😏 writing a sequel to her fanfic that includes herself while rumira stand over her shoulder and direct her what to put into it.

it isnt until people are singing the praises of the best rumira fanfic ever-turned-best polytrix fanfic ever that rumi and mira realize theyve just written rpf of themselves.

okay so listen. I accidentally came up with a fic concept and now it lives rent free in my head (It’s not because the new Hades chapter is killing me and I need some fluff. Absolutely not.)

Celine, an engineer working on a top‑secret supersoldier program, ends up saving Rumi’s life by implanting military tech that absolutely should not be outside a classified lab. The same accident injures Mi‑yeong so badly she can’t work as a surgeon anymore.

So what do they do?

They quit their government jobs, disappear into Seoul, and open a tiny flower shop, all the while trying to make sense of the feelings growing between them.

Celine, unfazed: Of course. I am wherever your mother is.

Mi-yeong slides off Celine’s lap and they both straighten their robes.

Rumi: Are you unwell, father? You look flushed.

Celine: We were in the middle of important matters.

Rumi, completely clueless: Oh. Shall I return later?

Celine: Yes—

Mi-yeong: No, dear. You are already here, come sit. Were you running again? A princess does not run, Rumi.

Rumi: Forgive me, mother. But this could not wait.

Celine: The dragon has already been dealt with. What else could require such haste?

Rumi: That is precisely what I came to speak of.

Mi-yeong: Then tell us. What hath brought you to such a state?

Rumi: I have been proposed to, mother. They asked for my hands!

Celine: PROPOSED?!—
