“I can’t meditat.”

Meditation is not hard. People think mediation is you having to be thoughtless and it’s not. Just sit down and think, that’s all you have to do. Meditation is customizable, if you want to count your breathing, go for it. If you want to think about shifting, go for it. If you want to be thoughtless and pure consciousness, go for it.

(First thing I do when I shift is checking pictures of me with my family, friends or s/o on my bedroom's walls and phone)

shifters are literally artists and you can’t convince me otherwise. Like we create themes, aesthetics, concepts, stories, backgrounds, music, worlds, families and the list goes ON. and the amount of potential poets and writers i see in this community is INCREDIBLE. i love y’all. i love us.

I repeat… RACE CHANGING ISN’T BAD.

I don’t know wtf has been going on with shiftblr, but some of yall need to remember what shifting really is. Im tired of yall trying to hate on race-changers, talking about some “oh that’s racist!” NO TF IT ISN’T SHUT UP. Okay, sorry, I’ll calm down. But what I’m trying to say is, some shifters have lost the plot. I saw someone comparing race changing to incest shifting……… What? They were complaining about how race changers and incest shifters both use the “excuse” of “well the universe is infinite”…. IT IS?? I’m sorry but is that not one of the BIGGEST beliefs of shifting and being a shifter??? How are you calling a race changers and people who defend race changing hypocrites by supporting something that is definitely not as bad as shifting for incest?? I don’t believe race changing is fetishisation, nor do I believe it’s racism/underlying racism, as some people claim.

The shifting community is supposed to be free of strict rules.

Anti-race changers are limiting themselves, and are limiting others by pushing their beliefs onto others and making them believe they’re genuinely doing something wrong. I think most of anti-race changing relates to white people (in this reality) shifting to reality where they’re black, or Asian, or Indian. But would it still matter if it was a Korean person shifting to a reality where they’re Chinese? that’s still race changing, no? Either way, I really see no issue. Because you’re not choosing a specific race, per se, you were already that race. You just shift and become aware of it.

The shifting community doesn’t need more shifting police!!

“Why would they want to be another race?” Well there could be multiple reasons as to why someone might “change” their race.

1. New experiences!

Different ways of life, history, culture, etc.

2. Fits better with their dr

Before I explain further, I am in no way insinuating that being a poc is just an aesthetic, or a setting, etc. no no no. But some drs have people with a certain race, for example, a kpop dr. It would make sense for them to be a kind of Asian for that!

Changing race ≠ fetishisation.

: ̗̀➛ Scripting out ur quirk beforehand is much easier than figuring out aft shifting. I suggest getting into details with ur quirks strong points and drawbacks. Being overpowered is obviously fun but I think actually experiencing the actual UA training and overcoming ur drawbacks and weaknesses is much more enjoyable but again it's ur reality! Do as u please!

: ̗̀➛ not feeling uncomfortable or pain after using ur quirk is a good thing to script as well. I have seen tons of ppl complaining about it being painful or uncomfortable to use their quirks so I recommend scripting this!

: ̗̀➛ scripting that your quirk is considered "cool". Unfortunately in my dr the general public is extremely judgemental and often judges ppl by their quirks and bullying is also a big part of it. It might not be the same case for everyone's dr ofc!

✎﹏uniform/costume!

: ̗̀➛ scripting that your uniform/hero costume is easy to put on and take off. In emergencies you really won't have much time to put on ur costume and I swear it's so much easier for the medical team to help you if your costume is easy to take off which is extremely crucial in critical moments

: ̗̀➛ script that you always feel comfortable in your outfits/costumes since it's so much more difficult to fight while being uncomfortable in ur clothing

✎﹏safety!

: ̗̀➛ scripting a high pain tolerance is also a common thing for anime drs or you can just script that you don't feel pain at all. Personally I felt a bit weird scripting it out entirely so I just scripted a high pain tolerance

✎﹏work studies/internships!

: ̗̀➛ script beforehand about what hero you want to work with or what arc you want to be a part of. Rather than being disappointed after shifting there it's better to script about these beforehand

I have over 40 drs!!! My two main drs are my twilight and avatar dr. My main s/o’s are Paul & Neteyam.

I have ‘minishifted’ a few times and accidentally shifted once.
