　　　they may mock us , copy us , discredit us , westernize us , but they can never be us . the originals do it better , we all know that ( cough cough dupatta vs . . . whatever scarf ) && see it in real time . our cultures are one of the biggest reasons some people may be shaking with anger and devote themselves to calling out our flaws , but that's what jealousy does to you . it blinds you and honestly , sucks to be them . i'd rather have my spices than eat something bland , sorry not sorry . it's just the fact , and if this offends you in any shape or form , then that's honestly not my problem because south asians have been living a life of toleration . they may also say we're stealing their jobs , well then come and get it ??? don't blame us for your low efforts and skills . this month is for all the girls who grew up resenting their skin tones and wanted to brighten it , for the boys who tried to fit into different friends groups and become apart of their culture for popularity , for the moms who look for the newest makeup product to make themselves whiter , for the dads who get quieter around non asian men because of their own accents , for the people who have to endure someone mocking them without being able to say anything , for the people who don't feel accepted by their families because south asian families are keen on reputation , for the people who don't understand their identity yet and struggle to find it alongside being a south asian , for the ones who live daily lives with someone in their ear saying they're well spoken for whatever race they are , and more . this month is for you !!! don't ever forget your roots . you are loved and appreciated . we did it first x

　　　the om symbol is not only for yoga . yoga is not a " clean white girl " aesthetic . bindis , mehendi , dupattas , and jhumkas were apart of our cultures first , not something made in scandinavia . shifting is deeply rooted in hinduism and buddhism . those bracelets are called churiyan . chai tea is basically saying tea twice . the " boho / hippie " look . . . right . i hateee seeing people hate on our cultures but you guys are wearing , doing , or eating something inspired ( but watered down to fit the westernized standards ) by our cultures .

Welcome to my first tag game. Yay. This is probably no original idea at all, but I haven’t seen it yet, so I ain’t copying anyone on purpose. (If someone already did this before me, I‘m sorry!!)

I got this idea when making my introduction post for my dr relationship. The idea is pretty simple… do y‘all know these relationship dynamic thingies with animals? Like black cat, orange cat, golden retriever, and so on…

The whole thing is to just get a pic of your face claim (or another representative pic if you‘re like me and don’t have a face claim lol) + a pic of your s/o, and pics of animals that represent you guys.
