I like how Eowyn and Faramir are both so loved by their people despite being the less loved / overlooked family member. When Theoden doesn’t even consider her as a possibility for being in charge while he’s gone, the people are like “Eowyn can lead us, duh. This is a non-issue??” Meanwhile, while Denethor wishes it was Faramir that died instead of Boromir and is never satisfied with anything he does, everyone in Minas Tirith is constantly happy to see the guy, worries about him, and grieves at the idea of him dying. Like, both their respective people love them so much and would follow them without hesitation, even if their actual leader doesn’t see their value.
