Listening to folklore during its season after some time away from it just leaves me in awe that she did that. Like, it really just cannot be underscored enough how much that album completely captured the zeitgeist and inherently feels like the summer of 2020 and is such an incredible collection of art. No matter what it's been associated with all these years later, the fact remains that it's absolutely a tour de force and a career highlight and no bitching on the internet should ever take away from that and none of this takes away from anything that came before or since but that album absolutely deserves every accolade it's gotten and more as does Taylor for making it
