The subgroup being the Marauders fandom (if this wasn't already clear) full of 1. horrible people who 2. don't respect any fandom etiquette. One of those things is already bad but combining both is just, I can't even put it into words.

They have horrible morals which leads them to having the worst possible takes (like threatening to kill a FICTIONAL animal is horrible but sending death threads to REAL humans because of a FICTIONAL character they like is a fun and heroic act). And if that wasn't already enough they think every post is made for them/should be made for them so now they comment those thoughts into communities that are clearly not made for them/their thoughts. 

They say they are the most open-minded and tolerant community creating a safe space but what they actually do is destroy the safe space of everyone who thinks just a bit different from them.

And let me tell you I used to be a Marauders fan and a Wolfstar shipper (even though I was always a Snape and Remadora fan first and foremost). And this is not supposed to be an anti Marauders/Wolfstar post (I do have my problems with both of them, but I couldn't care less what other people like/ship. I mean who am I to police other peoples love for FICTIONAL characters/ships?). This is only anti the Fandom that I used to be a part of but that was so toxic that I had to leave. Not only that but that also lead to me starting to question/dislike their favourite characters/ships. So all their "fandom/thoughts policing" ultimately lead to one of their own not only leaving them but also hating them. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who went through that. Especially in the last few years (since covid) they have become more and more toxic even starting to hate their own (like Jily shippers).

I have wanted to write this post for years, but I never got around to it. Until now where I am barely active in the HP fandom (on any social media platform) any more because the Marauders Fandom has infiltrated so many of those safe spaces that it's destroying my enjoyment of them. And I just needed to say this, so I finally can move on.

I don't know yet what I mean by moving on. I'm definitely not going to move on from being a Snape/Remadora fan but for now I simply can't be a (regularly) active member of those spaces or the Harry Potter Fandom in general. But I'm definitely moving on from the Marauders Fandom.  Both in the sense of finally "getting over" (for lack of a better word) that I once was a member of it and stopping all interactions with them (if possible).

That picture is from Season 3 Episode 10. The important part here is the date (Friday, 21. November 2003). Right after that scene, we see Bobby solve the case / get the guy to confess (it was the one with the two game developers where the one killed a gaming girl because he was jealous of her spending time with his partner) and him getting a text message from Alex about her having given birth to her nephew, which makes this day his birthday.

This picture is from Season 9 Eisode 2. Again, important is the date (Thursday, 19. November 2009) Eames is at the office of these two guys, who tell her to fire Bobby. After that, we only see a few scenes of them solving the case (First, the girlfriend of the murderer is killed, and Nichols and Stevens are questioning him and his sister. Then they are at 1PP and the sister confessed, but Goren tells Nichols that they need to let the guy free to finish the mission Captain Ross died for.) and finally the last scene, which is Alex firing Bobby and her resigning in the end. I'm not 100% sure, but I assume that all these scenes take place on the same day or maybe like a maximum of half a week(?).

Now I have this idea that just a few days later (Saturday, 21. November 2009) it's Alex's nephew's 6. Birthday. From the little things we get about her private life and her family (like her talking about him in season 3 or her being at what seems to be a family member's house and some small kids running around in season 6 for, I think, Thanksgiving or something like that), I assume that she is really close with him and will probably visit him on his birthday (or maybe the day after).

Based on these things, I just had an idea for a fanfiction where Eames visits her nephew for his birthday, and they have a party with the whole family (Eames' dad and mum (if she is still alive) and her brother with his family) and she takes Bobby along with her 1. because she always does that (he's kinda part of the family) and 2. to cheere him up after all that has just happened.

I think because the whole firing and resigning thing just happened her family might not know about it, but they find out during the party, and of course they are all shocked and Bobby feels kinda guilty (like he always does) but her family (except maybe for 1 or 2 people) are not angry at him. Even better if Bobby and Alex end up together during/ at the end of the story.
