STEVE ROGERS & NATASHA ROMANOFF CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (2014)
nat and her boys
steve rogers and natasha romanoff had some of the best romantic chemistry in the mcu and the fact that it was thrown out the window and replaced with mediocre ships with horrible writing HAUNTS ME
steve helping nat off the truck 🥺

anyway stevebuckynat are my fav because nat's the perfect bridge between present-day bucky and steve and all their bullshit and communication issues And nat gets the benefit of not one but two people who come as close as possible to understanding her
Thinking about Natasha Romanoff, the life-long spy with more aliases to her name than years of her life, the woman who is always acting, always playing a game of fear she'll fall behind and get hurt, asking Steve Rogers point blank, "Who do you want me to be?" and Steve replying "How about a friend?" He tells her he doesn't want her to play a role for him and instead asks her to just be herself. He asks her to be someone he can rely on, not because they're coworkers assigned to the same mission, but because they know and trust each other.
Steve being the one to steal the car in catws is one of my favourite things simply because there's no way Natasha "The Black Widow" Romanoff doesn't know how to steal a car.
Which to me implies that she pretended to not know how, or at least waited just a bit to see if Steve would do it.
Simply to know if he could, figure him out.
