What I’ve learned, is your nostrils are definitely on high alert, may get a little wet, and the beer aromas will be right there front and center and surround you. Tilquin Oude Mure - Also from the Monk’s fundraiser event. Had never heard of this before then. Will probably never get to try it again. But it was great. Tons of blackberry with balanced sourness.

Cold night with temperatures dropping into the single digits seemed like a good time for kicking the oven on and doing nachos. My wife picked up Lightshine Helles Lager by Wibby Brewing to pair with it. Perfect pairing! Crisp, Bavarian lager with a hint of citrusy hop, mild bitterness, and a faintly sweet malt went well with with spicy food. If you are in Longmont pop in and give Wibby a try.

Well yeah, you can find Brooklyn all over the world, but a few special beers are only available here in NYC. Thanks for the shout out, Thrillist. Time to plan your trip, rest of the world.
