Post corrections/clarifications are my favorite genre of humor: a compilation
I just googled this and… yes, it’s absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.

Sources beyond dude just trust me, for the skeptics.
Scientists may have been unknowingly inflating microplastics pollution estimates, and the surprising source could be their own lab gloves. A

you have this superpower! BUT you have this side-effect
is it worth it?
yes!!
the side effect is bad but ITS WORTH IT
meh it's okay
the side effect makes it unusable/not worth it
Results/option I didn't think of

OH I HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD
When I was at the natural history museum, the fossil section had stickers on the glass to engage children - things like "Flap your arms like a pterodactyl" or "Measure your hand against the mosasaurus." However the first of these I encountered, which I found alarming and threatening without context, was a sticker reading "Struggle like you are stuck in a tar pit"
I feel like more bright colors, an exclamation mark, or a more whimsical font choice would've also helped here to indicate that it is a Fun Activity For Children. Instead it felt like getting instructed in my inevitable fate by a road sign
something about love makes you look at things differently. the really important part of this is that any love will work. if you love blue you will see it everywhere. if you love soft things you will note the cat and the thread count and the moss. you will find your best friend in ugly greeting cards and haunted dolls and terrible fanfics and since they remind you of her they will be beautiful.
so you will love the world differently for having loved someone else. you will love a certain cereal or pokemon because of your brother. you will hear your favorite band's song playing in a random store and the love of it will make the whole world a little more golden. you will read a poem so many times the words become their own creatures. you will find you cannot listen to certain music without thinking of your favorite show.
this velveteen rabbit transformation occurs. the love does not stop, it echoes.

because i love you like that. lining the baking sheet to make cookies for your parents. putting aside a cutting of my spider plant since your friend mentioned he might want one. dressed up today even though i only am gonna see you.
not good at other stuff. brain like a blender. once actually i told my mom that it's like riding a surfboard through a tornado: no matter how many flowers i plant, i find the storm coming again on the horizon, whipping up my past into my present. everything becomes a cyclone in a moment. don't know if i did my taxes right; forgot to pack my hairbrush. i'm always forgetting something, actually. rarely ever do i get my work done 100% right; there's always a double-space or a missed comma. not your dog in a fight, i'd probably cry.
but i love you like i wrote you a poem at three in the morning. i love you like your favorite brand of gingerale is always stocked. i made sure to get the pickles you like too; even though i never remember to offer. i love you like your birthday isn't even for another month and i've already made three alternative plans (weather permitting); your gift's already wrapped in a corner.
love you like: give me the wheel i'll drive, you look tired. like: actually yeah why don't you play music, your taste is better. like: you go take a nap, i got this. like: let me make you dinner. like: i already organized everything, it's set to go whenever. like: let me carry that. like: if there's something i can do to make your life better today, i'm going to do it, always. like: okay i lied i did want the last few bites but you were so hungry and this sacrifice is an honor.
giggling and with your hair in a fan on my pillow, you told me that you're going to build me the house of my dreams. low voice, glowing like a moonbeam. angel girl. foxkit. sole proprietor of my heart: my home is wherever you're gonna be.
In Copenhagen you can visit The Round Tower. It used to be an astronomical observatory until light pollution and the vibrations from increased traffic in the streets made it useless for its original purpose.
Today it’s mostly famous for what it looks like on the inside.
It has an equestrian staircase though it’s so smooth it’s really just a gentle slope more than a staircase. It was build like that so our lazy bum king could ride his horse all the way to the top (king not in photo)
And naturally people have also driven cars up the tower
And held a bike race
For a while it was just sort of abandoned by the authorities and became a sloping marketplace
But today it has been restored and become a tourist spot as well as a popular destination for school trips. And yes, you can still watch the cosmos at the top.
