Finally managed to get the stained glass and the lights to look right, hope yall like it !
i feel like i have too many artistic/design ideas to keep my story as just a novel,,, and im sure all writers want their stories to be made shows or comics or whatever...but my ideas are so BROAD. not to mention expensive. and the idea that my idea is too big for my wallet! ouch!

i find inspiration in the silliest places...my novel was conceived by. well i dont know what...but sitting in school listening to whatever music i could find sure made me think a bunch. SO my novel was formed QUITE A BIT by the court jester by fukase and thquib (to be cringe is to be free)
they made some mistakes while writing the lyrics on genius huh these correlate with, um, my extremely mentally ill goddess oc, the hyperdream, and either her archangel daughter, kylare, or her knight turned servant/pet, kero. the hyperdream has always seen herself as a goddess, she created everything, after all, but does that really put her above all of them? is my idea TOO FAR FETCHED? nonetheless, everything rots at some point (in my belief). she has continuously lied to receive the worship her subjects give her, her mind has decayed over the endless years she has existed in the cosmic womb as she would call it. she is the mother of all, and the daughter of all...and she is unsuited, and she is fading away...she claims to know all.....i should probably get some sleep
im a sucker for toxic apprentice / mentor or parent / child relationships where the intentions were good, the execution bad, the ending miserable AND they loved one another silco and jinx is probably the best of this. he got lost along the way, he became the villain, and the same happened to her. arcane is truly a work of art.....they are such an inspiration to me...the parallels...oh my god im sick

being a writer is just switching between “i am a literary god” and “why did i write this sentence like an alien who’s never met language.” there is no in between.

i love worldbuilding in my head until i actually have to write it down. that part is pure torture
characters raised to be tools
Weapons. Trained, tested, forged in steel and fire. Failure is an inevitability that ends in death. Pain should not be felt--it should be recognized, familiar, and inconsequential
Martyrs. In the form of servants and princes, of leaders and underdogs. If blood is necessary, the martyr will lift their hands and offer it all
Shields. Like tempering a sword, but only to bear and not to lash out. Wounds are medals--not symbols of pride, but symbols of worth. A pretty shield is useless; scars mean a job well done
Experiments. Raised on the cold comfort of a lab table. Restraints are only necessary when they're not in their right mind. Is it honorable, to be twisted beyond recognition? Or is it just a necessary evil?
Monsters. Cruelty, caution, and regarding one as a creature beyond reasonable thought is tempering in its own right. But if you keep a leash at the right length, perhaps the massecre won't reach you. One can hope.
Idols. Pretty face, pretty name, pretty hands around their shoulders and throat. There to seduce, manipulate, force any feeling to come to the surface and twist it to their favor. Any genuinity stays locked behind the guilded cage that surrounds their pretty little heart
Trophies. Status and wealth and the traditions that keep someone at their heels, on their knees, to display and serve and decorate one's ballroom.
Sacrifices. Drenched in honorable clothes, prepared and adored and cleansed. The gift of hope at the cost of one's life. Is it taken with no fight? How can you escape the ropes you were born in?
