whumpy sideblog

hi y'all! i've had this blog for more than a few years now, but i've never introduced myself. i'm lily! i'm an insect ecologist (currently a phd student) from the US who's loved whump for as long as i can remember.

sometimes i write, but most of the time, i just reblog. everything is tagged/organized as best i can, although sometimes i forget which my tag is (i.e. "bloody nose" or "nosebleed"). my current favorites are westerns and 18th century period dramas like outlander, but i'm also a sucker for comic books.

currently rotating the idea in my brain of how to get him sick from acaricides but i'm undecided on the mechanism... maybe he gets into houseplants & tries to treat a spider mite infestation with acaricides? idk. spider mites are also horticultural pests but the first way to treat them is spraying water, then releasing predatory mites (so you don't want to spray mite-killing acaricides because you kill the good mites, too), so the likelihood of acaricide residue on a tomato from the grocery store is low.
