I hate advertising. I hate that you can’t do anything without companies jumping down your throat with mostly bullshit ads. I hate that billboards exist. I hate that every company unanimously decided to make their ads longer and longer. I hate that ad blockers try to charge you money and there are in app purchases to remove ads. I hate that my attention has become commodified. I hate that there’s nothing I can do about it.

I can see why they did it however: to properly show that this is a relationship, it recontextualizes the scene of the previous episode a little. Turns the Motoko's "messing around in her time off" scene into "the cyborg-polycule having some fun". Also it humanizes them all greatly, despite the fact that they are all 99% metal save for a shoebox sized cannister of neurons...

i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies
