In a thread about surrogacy, this woman believes she not only has a right to a child, and the right to exploit another women’s womb. But that seemingly other women do not have any risks during pregnancy simply because they don’t have her specific medical condition.
I honestly have no words for this level of entitlement and disregard for women’s lives.

A trans-identified male who was found guilty of repeatedly sexually abusing his 7 year-old stepdaughter in their Tulsa, Oklahoma home is appealing his conviction, arguing the prosecution had made “improper remarks” against him when they labeled him an “abuser” in court. Robert William Perry II, 32, changed his pronouns to “she/her” just after he was sentenced.
As previously reported by Reduxx, Perry was sentenced to life in federal prison following a conviction for the aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. The victim was Perry’s 7-year-old stepdaughter, but she referred to him as “dad” and “daddy” and viewed him as a biological parent.

By Shay Woulahan May 28, 2024
A serial rapist and attempted murderer has begun identifying as a “woman” while in prison, where he says he has been denied “gender affirming” care by corrections officials. David Smith is serving an order of lifelong restriction after being convicted of 14 offenses, including 8 counts of rape and attempting to murder his pregnant girlfriend. He was also previously found guilty in England of indecently assaulting a 5-year-old child.
Smith has requested prison staff refer to him by the name “Attila Taylor” and is seeking out transgender medical procedures, a wig, and prosthetic breasts. Speaking with the Scottish Sun over the phone, Smith argued for his right to obtain whatever accommodations and accessories he pleased.
“The prison’s gender identity and reassignment policy clearly states things they have to allow me access to… That’s wigs, prosthetics and shaving equipment — and they have been trying to decline that at every possible opportunity,” he said. “I just want the access to be able to live in the body of a female before I have the surgery.”
Smith is currently begin held in MP Barlinnie prison, a men’s facility, and prison officials have been adamant that there is no possibility Smith will be moved to a female facility. This is the result of a 2023 revision to the prison guidelines in the UK which barred male prisoners with intact male genitalia or a conviction relating to sexual offenses from being housed in the female prison estate.
Curiously, during his interview, Smith complained that there were too many males pretending to be women. He blasted fellow Scottish rapist Adam Graham, also known as Isla Bryson, for making it more difficult for trans inmates to be moved to women’s prisons. Smith accused Bryson of being “male” and not being a real transgender individual.
“I fucking hate people that come out as trans and then don’t go through with it. To me that is not a trans woman, that is not a woman at all. That is still a male,” Smith said about Bryson.
Bryson, 32, made international headlines last year after he was placed in a female prison while awaiting trial on two counts of rape. He was referred to with feminine pronouns both in court and in UK media coverage, and court documents had referred to the rapes as having been carried out with a female penis.
Bryson was ultimately convicted on both counts in January of 2023, and his case helped to raise awareness of the issue of male rapists who identify as transgender being placed in women’s prisons. One month later, prison reforms would come into effect that were almost a direct result of backlash against Bryson’s placement in a women’s prison.
Smith stated he began identifying as female in 2022 but that the prison has refused to update his gender marker.
“I have NHS records that show when I came out as trans. The prison are refusing to change my gender on the computer and until they do, I can’t apply for a gender recognition certificate, so I’ll never be classed as female, irrelevant to surgery,” he told the Scottish Sun.
Smith was sentenced in 2018 to a minimum of 5 years in prison but was warned by the Judge Lord Kinclaven that he may never be freed. Smith’s ex girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time of the attack, waved her right to anonymity to describe the horrific abuse Smith had subjected her to.
Ashleigh Stewart, who was 29 at the time, was forced to jump 40 feet from a window onto concrete to escape Smith, who had been threatening her with a knife and hedge shears. Smith had attempted to stab and strangle his then-girlfriend to death, chasing the pregnant woman around his flat in a scene that was described by media as being reminiscent of “The Shining.” As Stewart fled the enraged Smith, he plunged a blade through the closed door narrowly missing the woman. The altercation began after Smith accused her of having smiled at a stranger.
“All of a sudden he turned and started smashing up the flat. He was calling me a cow and a slut and was threatening to kidnap my daughter. He spat on my face and grabbed me,” Stewart said, describing her traumatizing ordeal.
Stewart, who was 4 weeks pregnant with Smith’s child and had a child from a previous relationship, described how she had met Smith only 3 months before the attack. The relationship moved quickly, and once Stewart had moved in with him, Smith’s true violent nature began to show. Stewart recounted how her ex would get drunk, and both physically and sexually assault her. He was also extremely jealous and possessive.
“He started to accuse me of sleeping with people, slagging my family off. He was just a horrible person. Then he started getting violent and everything else,” Stewart said, describing her relationship with Smith.
The campaign of abuse culminated in Smith chasing her around the flat screaming “I’ll kill you bitch.” Left with no other choice, Stewart threw herself out of a window in a desperate attempt to escape Smith’s murderous rage. She was left with six broken ribs, collapsed lungs, a fractured skull, a shattered breast bone, and a serious leg injury as a result.
“I only remember waking up on the ground and yelling for someone to call the police. David came out and pretended to be all nice but I was screaming for him to get away from me. Then I conked out again and I woke up in hospital the next day with pins and plates in my leg,” Stewart said regarding the fall.
“I was in excruciating pain — the bone came out through my leg. I am so grateful to be alive.”
Smith was finally arrested following the incident, but during the investigation it came to light he had abused and raped a second woman, a former partner, in multiple incidents between 2011 and 2015. The second victim told police that Smith was extremely jealous, often interrogating her about her whereabouts and locking her in his apartment.
The violent abuser was ultimately convicted of two counts of rape against the second victim. One incident took place in December of 2014, during which Smith punched and repeatedly kicked the woman. In another incident, he seized the victim by the throat and strangled her unconscious.
It was also revealed that Smith had a previous conviction for assaulting a 5-year-old in England.
As a result of his extensive and extremely violent history, a Judge determined that he met the criteria to be classified as a “high risk offender,” a label that was applied after he underwent a psychiatric evaluation. In response, Smith’s defense attorney argued that he was an “intelligent man” who has the “capacity for change.”
Smith was sentenced to a minimum term of five years in jail, but the sentence is effectively indefinite as he will only be released when parole authorities determine he serves no risk to the public.
Smith has also been placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.

Canadian government study into trans inmates reveals profile of sex criminals and murderers
After Bill C-16 was passed in Canada in 2017, which enshrined into Canadian human rights law gender identity and gender expression, the Correctional Service of Canada initiated a study into “gender diverse” inmates in its federal prisons.
The newly-published study reveals that over 44 percent of trans women inmates (i.e., biological males who identify as women) have a history of sex crimes, with over half of their victims being children. Over 41 percent of trans women inmates are in prison for homicides, which is twice as high as male inmates who still identify as men. The study has been attached here as a PDF.

The Scottish leader must take heed of changing views on the treatment of gender dysphoria
It would be lovely to live in a world where everyone had good intentions. No violence, no child abuse, no robbery. Women wouldn’t have to feel nervous about walking home at night, parents wouldn’t have to worry about children playing out. But no society is crime-free, which is why we have the law, the courts and the police.
That has not stopped Nicola Sturgeon asking Scottish women to pretend they live in a utopia. To make it easier for people to legally change their sex, the first minister is pushing through reforms that many believe would compromise women’s safety. Last week, Reem Alsalem, the UN special rapporteur on violence against women and girls, wrote to Sturgeon to warn her it would be open to abuse by male sex offenders, endangering women and girls. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has also flagged its concerns.
All trans people in the UK have the same robust protections against discrimination as other protected groups under the 2010 Equality Act and the UK was one of the first countries to enshrine such legal protections in 1999. Anyone male who is discriminated against as a result of being perceived as female is also protected against sex discrimination. These are critical legal safeguards. Trans people can also change their sex marker on official documents such as passports.
A small number of trans people in the UK – around 5,000 – have extra rights because they have applied for a gender recognition certificate (GRC) to change their sex for many legal purposes. Lawyers disagree on exactly what this means; the law is unclear. But many think that a GRC changes the threshold at which it is lawful to exclude someone male who identifies as a woman from female-only spaces, such as prisons, hospital wards, refuges and changing rooms. And most agree that increasing the number of males with GRCs would fundamentally shift how other Equality Act provisions to protect women, such as on equal pay, work.
At the moment, in order for someone male to be recognised as a woman in law – thus getting additional rights to access women’s spaces – they have to obtain a medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria and show that they have been living as the opposite sex for two years. Sturgeon is pressing through reforms that would shift Scotland to “self-ID” – any male who has lived as if they were of the opposite sex for three months and who signs a self-declaration will be granted a GRC. No Scottish minister has been able to say what living as the opposite sex actually means (and the EHRC has noted this provision risks reinforcing harmful sexist stereotypes).
The legal uncertainty in the existing system has left space for self-ID campaigners to misrepresent the law to service providers and employers, telling them they must treat someone who identifies as the opposite sex as that sex without exception. This is not true and leaves organisations at risk of unlawfully discriminating against women, as Essex University was found to have done.
But the Scottish reforms would make it materially harder for women to access single-sex services in line with their rights. The Scottish government expects a large increase in the number of GRCs as a result, which will make providers warier of providing single-sex services because it tips the legal balance away from women. One Scottish NHS trust already says that the privacy stipulations around GRCs mean it is impossible for them to accommodate a woman’s request for female-only care; under Sturgeon’s reforms, that will become more common.
Single-sex spaces matter because women have the right, as a matter of privacy and dignity, not to be around people of the opposite sex when they are in vulnerable situations, receiving intimate care or undressing. But such spaces are also important for women’s safety. At the heart of the Scottish reforms is the question of whether the rights of a GRC should be extended from those with gender dysphoria – who experience genuine distress about their biological sex – to any man who says they identify as female, including men who derive sexual gratification from cross dressing, and male sex offenders looking for access to spaces where women are vulnerable, or who would prefer to be jailed with vulnerable women.
It takes an enviable level of naivety not to see the risks. Imagine the cover these legal protections would give to men who seek sexual pleasure from voyeurism or exposure and the control it would afford sex offenders over victims. Women who complain could just be tarred as “transphobic”, as they were when a convicted male sex offender who identified as female exposed their semi-erect penis to a young girl at a Californian spa.
There are already many cases of male sex offenders identifying as women after their convictions and they can effectively wipe their criminal record by registering a change of legal sex. The case of Katie Dolatowski is instructive: a Scottish male sex offender who assaulted two pre-teen girls assumed another identity that allowed them to live in a women’s refuge. She has now been moved to a woman’s prison after violently assaulting a fellow male prisoner. But the SNP has outright rejected amendments seeking to prevent male sex offenders from getting a GRC.
Another serious concern about the bill is that it would enable children aged 16 and 17 to change their legal sex. For years, campaigning charities such as Mermaids have succeeded in getting the NHS to put aside evidence and adopt an affirmative approach to children with gender dysphoria, arguing that it is always an indicator of a fixed trans identity. This has led the NHS to put growing numbers of children and young people on the path to irreversible medical treatment that can make them infertile and is likely to have other significant physical and cognitive risks.
But an ongoing review by senior paediatrician Hilary Cass has emphasised that in many cases gender dysphoria in children is transient and can be associated with discomfort about puberty, coming to grips with same-sex attraction, autism and childhood trauma. She has highlighted that social transition – changing a child’s pronouns and name – is not a neutral intervention.
Cass’s findings so far have prompted a dramatic shift in the way NHS England plans to care for children with gender dysphoria – new draft service specifications emphasise the risks of inappropriate social transition and that it should only be done on a case-by-case basis with medical supervision. Yet the Scottish government is ignoring the Cass review and opening up the ultimate form of social transition to children with no clinical input whatsoever.
Sturgeon remains blinkered: she has ignored female victims of male violence, treated the concerns of the UN special rapporteur dismissively and failed to listen to young people who received appalling care from NHS Scotland and now regret their transition. Her implausible mantra remains that no man will abuse the system, women’s rights are not affected and evidence reviewed by an English paediatrician has no relevance to Scottish children. Scottish Labour could still try to amend the bill to make clear that a GRC does not change someone’s sex for the purposes of the Equality Act.
But the most likely outcome is that Sturgeon, a self-professed feminist and nationalist, will leave the door wide open for a Conservative government in Westminster to step in to protect Scottish women, by updating the Equality Act to clarify its sex-based protections for women apply only to those who are biologically female.
I’ve seen this before but I wanted to learn a little more. This is from the Wikipedia for “Un violador en tu camino” (A Rapist in your Path):
It’s interesting how this gets across the message of “it doesn’t matter what I was wearing” without needing to be objectifying and having them all call themselves sluts anything dregrading. I much prefer this type of protest. In your face, coordinated, one main mission, but many small details and facets that tell you much more about the situation. They are identifying the real problem.
El Violador Eres Tú - An explanation, perspective and translation from an indigenous radical feminist
This chant was first performed in Colombia and created by the colective LASTESIS. So far, it’s been performed in 42 countries, and translated into plenty of languages. The performance is a response to the situation in Abya Yala (mistakenly known as Latin America or South America) regarding the terribly high rates of male violence faced by women everyday in acts such as rape, prostitution services, sexual harassment, and others. It is a great chant as it illustrates perfectly the factors of the misogyny that women face when suffering male violence and when taking legal or social action against said violence.
The most impactful phrases of this chant are regarding men as a whole, through the use of the masculine grammatical gender (in the original version, which is in spanish). It illustrates the many facets of male violence and the pacto patriarcal of male systems to support men, going all the way from social to legal systems.
The situation of the women who inspired the chant
Here are some recent headlines, reports and statistics from all across Abya Yala about male violence, which is denounced in the chant.
Peru: Defensoría del Pueblo - 519 missing women and 19 feminicides in January 2022
Mexico: México closes a black year with over 3000 assassinated women (2021)
Abya Yala: CEPAL - At least 4091 women were victims of feminicide in 2020 in Latin America and Caribe, despite more visibilization and social condemns
One of the most scandalous acts of male violence was the case of El Calzón Rojo (The Red Panties), which happened in Ica, Peru in 2020. The woman who presented a rape accusation had her denounce dismissed because upon investigation, it was determined that she was wearing red underwear and was therefore, asking for it.
The meaning of the chant: the lyrics and the performance
“El Violador eras Tú” is often performed by women wearing black bands over their eyes and with makeup simulating bruises, or with red paint over their mouths in the shape of hands. Some of them show up without bras and shirtless, some others bring their daughters. The meaning is overwhelming: the black band over their eyes is to symbol the women who can no longer see the light, the bruises are to symbol the women being harmed, the red paint over the mouth symbolizes the violent imposition of silence over the women who want to speak up and the women who couldn’t, and showing up shirtless or with daughters represents some of the lyrics of the chant, visually.
Translation to english
Here’s the official lyrics (by LASTESIS) and a translation to english (by me lol), if anybody would like to chant it or write the phrases in signs.

If you’ve read this far, thank you very much for your interest and solidarity. I hope that this post was useful or informative to you, and I’m glad to see the expansion of sisterhood and female solidarity all across the world. I’ll be doing more translations of articles, chants, statistics and more in this blog, as one of my main concerns as an indigenous radical feminist, living in Peru, is to share as much information about the women who are opressed from where I come from.
Women’s liberation starts with women’s information.
Has it ever bothered anyone else that men claim to suffer from Post-partum depression? Even official medical websites and Doctors claim this.
Sure, men can be depressed after their wife gives birth. But that is not post-partum depression. What exactly, do men think they are parting from?
Women are flooded with hormones after giving birth. Virtually the most innately female thing possible, it is men (once again) appropriating women's suffering.

They won't ever again feel the sun on their skin, they won't ever feel a breeze go through their hair, they won't ever fall in love again, they won't ever again make their best friend laugh.
They won't ever again get to hug their grandparents, they won't ever be kissed on the head by their mom or dad.
They won't ever again get to soothe their kids while they're crying. They won't ever again to get in pointless fights with their loved ones and then laugh about it later.
They're not here anymore.
Over two hundred people are gone.
That's over two hundred human lives lost.
The people of Iran are only asking of us to share news. To talk about the protests. Not to forget. Please.
I’ve volunteered at our local senior center for years, and once I’d gotten to know the women who came, I’d eventually ask about their husbands, and they’d confide to me that they felt like a nurse, not a wife, because he expected to be waited on hand and foot, three hot meals a day, his medicine handed to him exactly when he needed to take it, her to make all his appointments. And I’d suggest, oh, they have those pill bottles that tell you when you last took your medicine, there are these services for seniors to help get you to appointments, I can sign you up for meals on wheels!
And they’d say, no, it wasn’t that he couldn’t manage his own appointments or pills or dinner, because he’d done it for years, but he stopped when they moved in together/got married/bought a house/had a kid/two kids. A woman told me she dated a man for years, had a child with him, got pregnant again, moved across the country for his job - and the second she had no job, no nearby family, a toddler, and a newborn, his personality did an immediate 180. I heard this story from every woman, the only difference was when it occurred. After marriage? The first kid? The second? When did he feel like she was in too deep to divorce him, and stop pretending to give a fuck about her?
So I started gently inquiring with middle-aged women and younger, trying to figure it out. And they all described the same thing. Some of them were bewildered, trying to fix it, thinking it was temporary. I met a woman who described her husband’s “postpartum depression”, which involved him reneging on his promise to take paternity leave, laying around when he was home, accepting every offer of work travel he could, and yelling at her constantly. Five years later, his “PPD” is still going strong. One woman wistfully told me about how they used to go grocery shopping together and cook a delicious meal together for them and their kid, but when he got a job across the country and they moved, he stopped helping and she became responsible for cooking all meals, or he’d feed their kid a microwave quesadilla for dinner every night. I know a childfree woman who separated from her husband because he started dumping all the chores on her, but went back to him when he promised to fix it and started acting like when they were dating. And then five years later, once they’d bought a vacation home together and were renting it out, he immediately struck again. Only this time, divorcing him was going to be such a financial tangle that she just decided to suck it up and pick up his socks for the rest of their marriage.
There was one single man who came to the senior center with his wife, doted on her, was an absolute Prince Charming until the end. He was so endlessly kind and adoring with his wife, she raved about him. They would look through the classes we offered, each circle on their own pamphlet the ones they wanted to do, and then do the ones they both circled, and he would peek over her shoulder to circle the ones she did - we all knew it, and it was hugely adorable.
Then she died, and he tried to alter her will to give her family farm that she’d inherited from her mother to their son instead of their daughter, who had been running it for years.
And after all these stories, I kind of just had to accept it. All of these women were intelligent, and aware of male violence, had vetted the men they were dating, and thought they were getting a good one. Literally making the same mistake as their mothers, over and over again, because they thought, “well, I checked him out! I dated him for years before we got married/had a kid! I lived with him, I know what he’s like! I looked for red flags!” not realizing that, yeah, so did lots of women.
But the problem is, we’re not talking to each other enough, so every woman is evaluating her relationship under the assumption that he will continue to act the same way he’s acting right then. Which makes sense, but doesn’t seem to be a good predictor of behavior in men. Every single woman would tell me, “oh, he turned out just like his dad, you have to look at the dad,” “it’s because he went to vietnam, I shouldn’t have married someone who went to war, “it’s because his mom did all the chores, you have to look at the mom,” “his parents were abusive, you have to marry a man who goes to therapy,” “i think he didn’t really want kids and was just going along with me, you have to make sure the guy suggests kids first,” and they were blaming themselves for not being able to see it - although, as far as I could tell, it was pretty universal.
And I had to accept that I was not smarter than them, I didn’t have any innate talent for reading people that they didn’t, there was no secret red flag, and I wasn’t going to do any better at vetting men than they did. I find it confusing, that men can put on a mask for years. I couldn’t do that, it would be literally impossible. But all my evidence suggests that many men are capable of this, and many women aren’t great at seeing through it. So why would I even bother? I don’t find it to be worth my time to invest in a relationship that has a countdown clock on it. I don’t want to put in the time to bond with a façade. I have like. real shit to do.
Self-managed abortion (SMA) with pills is very medically safe and effective throughout early pregnancy, but there is a significant risk of criminalization in many U.S. states. While it is impossible to fully eliminate the risk of criminalization when having or planning to have an abortion at home, t
Leave no online footprint of searches or purchases. Digital Defense Fund’s abortion privacy guide is your go-to resource for this. Using private browsers, two-factor authentication, encrypted messaging, strong passwords, etc. is critical. Google searches have been presented as evidence in an SMA trial before. Do not leave a digital trail.
Use the medications properly to prevent interactions with healthcare providers. The pills are very effective, but they have to be used right. Carefully follow the instructions provided on the How to Use Abortion Pill website. Note that misoprostol tablets should always be taken by dissolving them under the tongue. Do NOT insert misoprostol vaginally if you are self-managing an abortion. While this is medically safe, it can leave incriminating pill remnants that can be detected in the vagina during a pelvic exam if you end up needing to seek medical care.
If it’s not an emergency but you need expert health advice, use a free calling service like Google Voice to call or text the Miscarriage + Abortion Hotline at 1-833-246-2632. Medical complications are very uncommon with abortion pills, but they’re not impossible. The M+A Hotline is safe to use and is staffed by trustworthy clinicians who volunteer their time to help those who choose SMA. Do not use your own phone number to call as this will create a record that is visible to your cell service provider.
Don’t disclose any information about SMA to emergency room staff if you do need to seek medical care. This is how most people who are arrested for SMA are reported. Healthcare providers are almost always who calls the police in cases of SMA criminalization. Contrary to popular belief, HIPAA does not protect your private health information from being shared with police if you are suspected of doing something that could be considered a crime. If you believe you need to seek urgent medical care, do not hesitate to go. Say “I think I’m having a miscarriage” and provide your symptoms. Do not mention any use of or purchase of abortion pills. There is no widely available test to detect misoprostol in your bloodstream. If you do not disclose it, there is no way for a medical provider to tell the difference between a medication abortion and a spontaneous miscarriage.
Do not talk to the cops. Period. Do. Not. Talk. To. The. Cops. If you are questioned by police you should state, “I am exercising my right to remain silent, and I wish to speak with an attorney.” Do not speak again or nod in response to a question. Contact the Repro Legal Helpline as soon as possible for expert legal advice: 1-844-868-2812. Do not agree to questioning or speak to any law enforcement official without a lawyer present.

警方讯问你的话,你只说“I AM EXERCISING MY RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT, AND I WISH TO SPEAK WITH AN ATTORNEY” (“我正在行使保持沉默的权利,我希望与律师交谈”)。

PROTEGER A TU MISMA CONTRA CRIMINALIZACION POR UN ABORTO AUTOGESTIONADO
1. No dejes ninguna huella digital. No dejes ningún rastro digital.
5. No hables con la policía. Fin. No. Hables.

Segui attentamente le istruzioni del sito web “How to Use Abortion Pill”.
5. Non parlare con la polizia. Stop. Non. Parlare. Con. La. Polizia. Se sei interrogata dalla polizia, dì “I am exercising my right to remain silent, and I wish to speak with an attorney.”
Whenever women protest the inclusion of trans-identified males in our spaces, we’re shouted down and dismissed as transphobes and hysterics. No ‘transwoman’ would ever do us harm; this never happens, we’re told. When we produce evidence to the contrary, we’re accused of bigotry and of demonising trans people. We cannot win.
But the truth is that men, as a class, pose a threat to women, as a class. That is an unequivocal fact and male offending patterns are not altered by ‘gender identity’.
Men can be a risk to women and children however they ‘identify’ and it’s impossible to tell which males are harmless and which are not. So basic safeguarding means we exclude all males from women’s spaces. The list below demonstrates that we are right to do so.
It is far from an exhaustive list - these are just some examples of which I’m aware - but there are almost 100 names on it. I’d like to ask all those shouting at us to be ‘inclusive’, how many victims do you deem acceptable collateral damage for prioritising male feelings over women’s safety?
With each case described in more detail below, here are 98 examples of trans-identified males who have raped, assaulted, abused and/or murdered women and/or children. The thing that never happens…
