when I was 15 I was lucky enough to be able to go on a school trip to Europe. we went to 10+ countries and while I was over there I felt the need to buy a rosary. we visited many old churches and cathedrals and I fell in love with, like the whole vibe of the church. when we were in Paris we went to the Basilique du SacrĂŠ-CĹur de Montmartre. I had never felt so moved in a church as I did there. growing up a mix of baptist and methodist there wasnât that reverence in the church that I felt God deserved. I was able to buy a rosary there, a little blue one with a container with a blue rose lid. I started learning about the history of the rosary and its prayers, but then I went deeper, studying Mother Mary and her apparitions and the saints. I feel in love with the church, especially the Blessed Sacrament (hence the name) and the Precious Blood of Jesus.
I live in an area where catholics are considered not to follow Christ. in high school I knew like four catholics, and two of them were siblings. I plan to convert as soon as possible but due to certain circumstances I cannot at this point in my life.
I believe God made queer people in his image and queer people have a special share in His cross
I believe God made disabled people in his image and disabled people have a special share in His cross
I believe if you do not have love in your heart for everyone you have not accepted Christ
I believe in the right to chose your own reproductive care, and the choice is between you, your doctor(s), and God alone
I will try not to get into discourse on this blog because this blog is for the love of God
