Almost ALL of my experiences came from meditation habits and the way I could calm my brain (during meditative state). Just not even an hour ago (it's nighttime for me after midnight rn) I was listening to a shifting subliminal, and I was slightly drowsy, supine position, and I saw a verrryyy brief dream. And I woke up like 5 minutes after and I was in sleep paralysis..

Hey so I read your first shift post. How did you shift? (I mean your first shift) and now how are you shifting so much what is the secret? (When ppl can't even shift even once in so many years) do you have a method or do you just use loa? It would be nice if you told us!
my very first successful shift happened when i decided to.
i set the intention, went to sleep, and knew i would wake up in my dr. and if the 3d showed me anything else, then i simply knew that wasnβt mine.
the shift itself didnβt feel like a process, it felt like a decision that was already complete the moment i made it. and thatβs what really changed everything for me.
because the moment you decide youβre there, you are there. not later. not after effort. not after proof. but in the exact moment of decision itself.
everything else after that is just unfolding awareness.
as for a βsecretββ¦ there isnβt one.
the biggest change for me was realising that shifting is an innate ability. there isnβt a βright wayβ to do it because itβs something weβre already doing constantly.
so the βsecretβ is letting go of the idea that there even is a secret.
itβs not about finding the perfect method or technique. itβs not about doing more. itβs about realising that nothing outside of you is going to make it happen.
there is nothing i can say or give you that will make you shift, because that power has always been yours.
and failure doesnβt exist in this either.
failure only exists if you define an experience as failure. but if everything is just experience happening through awareness, then nothing can actually go wrong.
you donβt get sent back. you donβt get denied. you donβt lose access.
you simply experience, and then interpret, and then continue.
and that interpretation is the only place βfailureβ can ever exist, which means itβs optional.
you are not trying to force your way into a reality.
you are awareness itself, moving through different points of experience.
pure awareness doesnβt travel, it doesnβt struggle, it doesnβt try.
it simply is.
so when you say βi am there,β youβre not creating something new, youβre recognising whatβs already true in that moment of awareness.
my method now is still the same. i set the intention at night and wake up in my dr.
and i know it can feel frustrating to hear this, especially when youβve been trying for so long.
i was there too. i spent 5 years thinking there was something to unlock, something to fix, something to earn.
when in reality, it was always just me misunderstanding myself.
so if thereβs anything to take away from this, itβs this: you are not getting there. you already shifted the moment you decided to.

okay so, 5 days ago i remembered that she knows about lucid dreaming and that it happens to her every night, so i decided to ask her about it so i can soft launch shifting to her.. (she believed me quickly when i told her about shifting, she is a believer so its nothing new HAJSHAHA)
OKAY FAST FORWARD TO HER SHIFTING LAST NIGHT, she messaged me that SHE FINALLY SHIFTED, she shifted to a medieval era but gothic.. at first she thought that she was just dreaming, well she is in fact just dreaming at that time and she saw a man and a woman (they are boyf and girlf) and my cousin just imagined the man was HER and just had the intention to switch their bodies.. AND GUESS WHAT, SHE DID IT SUCCESSFULLY ππ

Why Your Brain Resists New Assumptions (Cognitive Dissonance and the βThis Feels Fakeβ Problem)
If you have ever tried affirming βI am loved, chosen, successful, rich, calm, confidentβ and immediately felt your brain scream βno you are not,β congratulations, your brain is working exactly as designed. This resistance is not spiritual failure, it is cognitive dissonance in action. Cognitive dissonance is a psychological term coined by Leon Festinger in 1957, and it describes the discomfort your brain experiences when new information contradicts your existing beliefs, identity, or lived experience. Your brain is a prediction machine. It builds models of who you are, how the world works, what is likely to happen, and it hates updating those models because updating costs energy. So when you affirm something that contradicts your current identity, your brain flags it as a threat, not because it is evil, but because it is lazy and survival-focused.
Here is what is actually happening: your subconscious identity is built from repeated experiences, emotional memories, and reinforced narratives. If your identity says βI am unlucky, people leave, money is scarce, I fail exams,β then affirming βI am always successfulβ creates a conflict between stored neural predictions and new input. This conflict triggers discomfort, doubt, sarcasm, intrusive thoughts, and that classic feeling of βIβm lying to myself.β Your brain is basically that one friend who refuses to accept your glow-up because they liked you better in your old era.
Why affirmations feel fake: Your brain tracks consistency, not hope. If your past data set says X, and you claim Y, the brain says βshow me evidence.β That is why affirmations often feel hollow in the beginning. It is not that they do not work. It is that you are challenging an existing cognitive schema. Schemas are mental frameworks that organize beliefs about yourself and reality. You are rewriting the schema, and your brain is like βthis file is locked.β
Now the fun part: how to bypass this resistance instead of fighting it.
Reduce the dissonance gap. Instead of jumping from βI am a failureβ to βI am a billionaire genius,β use bridge assumptions like βI am improving every dayβ or βThings are starting to work in my favor.β The brain accepts incremental updates more easily. This is called gradual belief updating in cognitive psychology.
2. Pair repetition with experiential evidence. Your brain believes what it experiences, not what you recite like a poem. Study for 20 minutes and affirm βI am disciplined.β Drink water and affirm βI take care of myself.β Tiny behaviors create sensory evidence that lowers cognitive dissonance.
3. Normalize the new assumption until boredom hits. Habituation is the process where repeated stimuli become familiar and emotionally neutral. When your affirmations feel boring, that is not failure, that is neural integration. Your brain has stopped fighting and started filing the belief under βnormal.β
4. Use emotional tagging wisely. Strong emotion tells the brain βthis matters.β Trauma sticks because of emotional intensity. You can hijack this by visualizing success with genuine sensory detail. Your brain cannot fully distinguish imagined from real experiences, especially during vivid imagery. This is why SATS works. You are literally feeding your brain fake memories to overwrite old ones.
5. Stop arguing with the resistance. Resistance is a sign you are targeting a core belief, not surface thoughts. If your brain did not resist, you would not be changing anything important. Think of it as mental DOMS. If it burns, you hit the right muscle.
And yes, sometimes your brain will throw dramatic thoughts like βthis is delusional,β βyou ruined it,β βstart tomorrow perfectly.β That is just the ego protecting the old identity. The ego likes familiar suffering more than unknown improvement. It is the emotional equivalent of staying in a toxic situationship because at least it is predictable.
So if affirmations feel fake, that is not proof they do not work. It is proof you are rewiring something real. Cognitive dissonance is the doorway, not the obstacle. Walk through it enough times and it becomes your new normal.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH SCRIPTING (while in my DR's)
Beauty : I swear i spend more time scripting the type of beauty i have than anything else in my script. The first thing I immediately noticed is the STARES like they are so intense to the point that whenever I go out with people some of them have told me that it lowkey makes them uncomfortable. Which is something I never considered beforehand but I can understand their point of view, so just beware before scripting some wild shit π
Family : I always try to script things for family because in my cr, Im not close with my extended not even my cousins so its nice that in my dr's whenever I go to family events I can actually enjoy myself and its not awkward. My family in my bts dr is so open minded and loving that sometimes I be talking to my cr family and I mention something that might be lil woke for them.. I genuinely cannot fathom how someone can be so narrow minded like gang its not that serious π
Random stuff : I scripted my jokes are always funny now im the class comedian, I scripted my cooking is very much deliciouso all the sudden everyone want me to cook for them. I also scripted that school never drained me (mha dr) AN BOI that one is a must especially when you're dealing with mf's like monoma.
The consequences : now in all of my dr's i am basically the embodiment of a y/n why? because why shift to be poor and miserable. I do have main character syndrome, i am very well aware and I could care less. Now the bad thing about this is the hating ass hoe's, the ENVY goes crazy and its so noticeable too. Unless you script that everyone likes you, their will be people praying on your downfall. For me the way I handle this is usally telling myself "oh their just jealous" but thats just the ego talking but if im being honest it's does hurt when people that you have never even spoken to start saying mean and just simply disrespectful things about you.

Interesting facts about Megumi from my dr

β Megumi is very polite actually. He always helps, opens the door, gives his jacket.
β He's not tactile by nature, that's true. But when we started dating, he became more open to it and gradually even started to do it himself.
β He loves to read, and to be honest, I think he's a real bookworm.
β He has a small belly, which means he's not really that pumped up, more sinewy and not super skinny, but he's not a muscle man either.
β He loves to play with my hair and often inhales the scent of my shampoo (I use apple scented).
β He's actually a terrible projectionist; his room is perfectly tidy. Sometimes he cleans my room too, because he thinks I don't clean it enough.
β He loves to sleep in his pajamas, that's a fact. For him to take off all his clothes, there'd probably have to be an earthquake or he'd have to fall out of a tree. (He's wearing blue striped pajamas.)
β And lastly, he's probably not completely silent; he has a certain amount of sarcasm and spice, especially in his conversations. With Yuji, he might even tease him, but with me, he's much more gentle.He doesn't allow himself to hurt me in any way.
HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT AWAKE
(coming from a procrastinator that often gets bored during attempts and STILL shifts anyway)
HI SHIFTBLR! I'm back with a big post.
So, I've been on tiktok lately and i've been seeing a lot a lot a LOT of people talking about how to awake shift and it really inspired me to speak on my experience because i don't really see that many people share their awake shifting experiences in detail.
Just for context, I use my own method to awake shift. It's fairly easy. All it takes is patience and some free time, that's all.
There's this girl on tiktok named Kas who PERFECTLY encapsulated my METHOD in a video but in way better words. She defined shifting as DISCONNECTION, IDENTIFICATION, AND RECONNECTION! That is exactly it! Most people get stuck on Disconnection and give up. I often get really bored before this part but trust me that's just your ego trying to stop you! Don't ever listen! You could live your dream life rn babes why would you quit?!?
So, THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT WHILE AWAKE:
I meditate by breathing in like 2-5 times, sometimes i do it for longer but i find that if i do it for too long, i end up falling asleep. This step is important but it shouldn't be overdone because your body isn't even needed to shift.
i immediately start on DISCONNECTION. I tell myself "I am disconnected from my current reality. I am not this body / vessel" until i start to feel a little floaty.
After feeling floaty, i'm still feeling connected to my CR but i kinda ignore it and just skip straight to connecting to my DR SELF via identity affirmations.
Usually at this point i start to visualize where i'll wake up and sometimes i get so deep in it that i dont even have to do CONNECTION because i'll start hearing stuff from my DR or feeling stuff. Like if i'm petting my cat, i'll subtly feel her fur but like in my CR if that makes sense?? It's like i can FEEL it as my DR self but my CR self is feeling the sensations. I actually hate this because it feels like a game of cat n fucking mouse. Like whats the point of that "phantom" ass feeling? Just shift and feel it for real lmaoo!!
I'm going to try to explain this as best i can: When I shift while awake, it's lik the reality fades in. Like, I'm in my CR doing affs, and then all of a sudden i'm in my DR. . . there is no distinction of travel between the two. i'm just here one moment and then the next im in my DR. I can never predict the exact moment because it just happens and im not even really paying attention when it does. I just notice that i'm there, yk?
lately i've been getting bored after the feelings stop, so i just kinda give up :/ but i still hear stuff from my DR so i count that as a partial shift, aka shifting regardless!!!

SO at the last step of reconnecting I started saying affirmations βI will hear bird chirping to solidify that I am in my drβ and I kid you not a few minutes between saying affs like βI am not my body, not my mind, or my brainβ and visualizing where I was waking up I HEARD BIRD CHIRPS!!!? my heartbeat started to increase and and I saw flashing lightsβI know those are just symptoms and they donβt mean anything but oh my god I havenβt felt any of this innn a long time. I truly believe if I had continue I wouldβve shifted..however that wasnβt my intention going in while doing this I was just more so curious on if it would βactuallyβ work π I have to do sm schoolwork and finals no time to lock in on shifting but trust next time I shift I will definitely be using this!!
CHATTTTTTT WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT AWAKE SHIFTING!!!! It's genuinely SO SO SO FREAKING EASYYYYY!!!! Just DETACH from the outcome... DETACH from the waiting for the shift to come and SIMPLY BE YOUR DR SELF! Once you do that, the shift will just come naturally !!!!
The REASON people get so tripped up by their methods is because they EXPECT THE METHOD TO BE THE THING THAT MAKES YOU SHIFT!!! It's NOT THE METHOD! It's the IDENTITY SWITCH GUYS!!! LOCK INNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way mason describes shifting is like being held up by clouds and bathing in sunlight. There's something so soft and hopeful in his words that eased even the most suspicious and weary concerns in my skeptical mind. He truly is the goat of all goats.
I am so grateful for his posts because they made me look at shifting with a much gentler approach and allowed me to view shifting as something I am naturally inclined to and not something I had to chase. The kind of assurance and tenderness that mason has towards shifting and people who struggle to do it is so hard to come by. Mason will definitely always be my favourite shifter who I look up to.

I love her posts so much!! Her storytimes give me so much motivation. The way she talks about her DR's and the stuff that happens in them makes shifting feel so... normal. Like yes, this is an everyday thing and not something so out of reach as I had assumed it to be. I tend to view shifting as something so magical and out of this world because it felt that way when I found out about it, so experiences in other realities being described so casually, rewired my brain completely.
She goes into so much detail and gets sidetracked alot, which makes it feel like I am just listening to a friend on call talk about their day and that helps bring even more of a sense of normality to shifting for me.

Law of assumption and manifestation was so daunting and I was pretty apprehensive about it not working but she showed me that its the easiest thing ever actually.

Tough love that is so needed when it comes to manifesting and the nagging doubts that come with it. He always tells it like it is and doesn't sugar coat anything. Used the list manifesting method that he recommended and got everything on that list in the next few days.
Examples: my hair looking so good without any styling or products, shifting almost everyday, always having money, multiple tutoring jobs, always getting the highest grades, and so much more.

If I had found these creators earlier in my shifting journey, I probably would have shifted way earlier and thought of shifting as something much easier than I used to as a baby shifter. Oh well, no matter when it happened, I am glad that I came across their content.
These days I only surround myself with shifting/manifesting content that I want to/can relate to, which, I think further helps me shift and manifest whenever I want because its saturating my mind with the beliefs that I aspire to hold and showing me the kind person I want to and can become.
