4 Questions about void state, lucid dreaming, and awareness.
Hey yall. ๐๐ป ๐จ๐ This post will be a bit long cause i wanted to be efficient and answer 4 questions simultaneously. Two of them are related to lucid dreaming, one of them void state, and one about the awareness. READ UNTIL THE END!! If y'all ask stuff related to things I've answered here, I WON'T ANSWER. please, read until the end.
First qustion comes from @dmitrijshey. Hey shey. ๐๐ท๏ธ i really liked your question and wow, you read my lucid dream posts, hope they were beneficial for u. The way you said is completely correct, its not necessary to be overwhelmed with techniques to trigger lucid dreams (and I don't recommend lol), if a person simply implants the belief (aka assumption) in their subconscious mind that "i am already a natural lucid dreamer" without using any techniques (lucid dream journal writing, reality checks, etc.), then, on a fundamental level, the system goes on ''autopilot''. The subconscious reflects a truth that leaves resistance behind. Also a tip, when rejecting former decisions (or beliefs, thoughts), its not about fighting them its just shifting their focus. this is important. Forcibly trying to "deny" an idea sometimes only gives it more energy. Cause not being obsessed is important. Neutralizing those ideas and sticking to the new assumption is the easiest and most reccommend (by me lol) approach.
Yes thats true ive been a natural lucid dreamer since i was a little girl and im used to it. And yes, i may have always experienced this rather "easier" but that dosent mean the process would be different for someone who wants to build this ''ability'' from the outside. i had this assumption since when i was little, while you choose it later in life through your consciousness. The result is the same. Assumptions ARE the key. Hope i answered the question marks in your mind :) ๐ฝ
The second question is from @lastangelonearthblog. ๐๐ป๐ชฝ๐ฉถ Hey angel, i loved ur question too lol i love these rather deeper philosophical matters. i think your question is shortly, "what moves when reality is altered? is it the soul or the consciousness?" Yeah i'll try to answer from my perspective, youre free to disagree!!! Like i said on my previous post, yeah you dont ''go from point a to point b physically''. Actually, nothing is "going" or "moving" anywhere cause, from the perspective of the Law of Assumption, all realities, all universes, and all "you's" already exist here and now, within the soul (the greater consciousness). The soul (I AM) is placeless, it dosent move. its the movie theater itself. All the films (aka realities) already exist within it. But the awareness is like the light of a cinema projector. The projector light dosent necessarily "travel" to one place cause it turns its lens towards another film (again, by my analogy, reality). Therefore, shifting isn't the soul flying from one dimension to another. its the soul taking the light of awareness from this body and focusing it onto the other body/reality that already exists.
So, to repeat, to me, the soul (the source, ''ocean'') is the holistic, creative power, the purest and indivisible form of what we call "self." The ocean itself. But however the consciousness/ awareness (the drop, the current) is the soul's means of self experiencing. A current or a wave within the ocean. Theyre not separate, but their functions are different. (reminded me of The Trinity lol, im Christian.) Consciousness is the soul's way of saying "im aware." When you shift, the ocean dosent ever change its position, the ocean takes on the awareness of a wave within it. Your soul dosent move to another universe when reality changes. Your soul is already everywhere. You shift your focus from the scene youre currently watching to your other life, which is already unfolding on the side stage. What moves is not your physical location ONLY your focus. ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
hope that make sense lol. its just my perspective, like i said. thanks for ur question, it made me think profoundly :) ๐ซถ๐ป
Hey sweet girl. ๐๐ป๐๐ฅ๐ชท My 3rd question comes from @lilithnoirbaby. So lilith, from my understanding, youre asking about staying conscious and alert during lucid dream and false awakenings. Lucid dream is kinda my expertise hshshshshsh. Anyways, ive been also struggling with the same issues but i'll try to give u some tips. Now i call this situation being ''semi conscious'' within a lucid dream. Basically knowing youre dreaming (aka cognitive awareness) and having complete control and a sense of "yeah im here" within the dream (total awareness) are different levels. Ur subconscious tells you, ure dreaming, but it dosent fully surrender control of your dream body. Passing through the shifting portal and entering another dream is actually due to insufficient focus at that moment and being carried away by the dream's flow.
My solutions are, mental diet might be it, id suggest u to do it again, you have to accept this cause while you were on the mental diet you were actually nurturing the assumption AND identity that ''im someone who can control my dreams.'' Your subconscious registered this. So yea, it wasn't the techniques that worked,, BUT, that was the new orientation you gave your mind!!! (Basically assumption lol) Trying to do something immediately upon waking up in a panic (opening a portal, flying, etc..) overloads the what I call, dream engine and either wakes the system up or throws it into other dreams through false awakenings. (i hate them sm ugh ๐ซ) The moment you realize youre dreaming (immediately after counting your fingers), do nothing. Just stand still. Hold on to the dream environment. Rub your hands together, touch the earth /carpet or whatevers on the floor, feel the texture of an object in the dream. This shpuld anchor your consciousness to your dream body, facilitating the transition from semi lucidity to fully clear awareness.
Yeah it could be fun to ask dream characters for portals but..but but but, those characters are also reflections of the subconscious and can sometimes sabotage us!!!!! (just like the Eternal member did in ur expรฉrience). instead after stabilizing the dream you can tell it to turn around and act on the assumption that "when i turn around, there will be a door opening to my DR." Orrr, even easier, lie flat on the floor in the dream, completely disregard the dream setting, and focus solely on the feeling of the target reality (affirmation AND feeling), waiting to "fade out" within the dream.
you can check this post. and this post AND this post for further clarity. ๐๐ท
Heyaaaa my last and 4th question is from @chromaticsharkpaladin. ๐ธ๐๐ปโ๏ธI dont think thats a silly question lol... on the contrary its one of the most critical "final threshold" problems that meditators and ppl who are aiming for the void state often encounter. Moreover ur description of the situation as "like listening to my own phone line" is spot on lol. Can breathing be forgotten spontaneously??? The answer is both yes and no. if you try to forcibly "forget" your breath, ironically you'll focus on it even more (the classic "thinking of the pink elephant" analogy lmao), LIKE I SAID ON THE FIRST QUESTION, for the breath to fade away spontaneously the focus needs to shift. Try to stop focusing on the sound of your breath or the feeling in your lungs and focus on those tiny pauses aka gaps where your breath ends. You breathe in,, pause, breathe out, pause. Those milisecond moments of "nothingness" between breaths are the micro states of the void. As you shift your focus to those gaps, the breath itself will fade into the background.
its a common topic ive covered before!! so, instead of explainin all over again, you can check this post about yoga, this post again about yoga and void state, basically breathing techniques, this post, this post, ANDDDD about raja yoga and void state, this post..
again, hope i made sense and i highly suggest u to read the post ive mentioned.
RAHHHH THIS TOOK ME 2+ HRS hope y'all read until the end. Like I said, If yall ask stuff related to things ive already said here, I WONT ANSWER TO YALL!! ciao.๐ท๐๐ฆข
