god I really wish people would stop treating the content they consume as like, some kind of diet where you can only read and watch things that are organic and free-range and chemical-free. diets aren’t real because you made them about movies. you can read things that are objectively bad and still come out of it okay because your brain isn’t a 1:1 what-goes-in-comes-out deal! you’re capable of being discerning and enjoying things that you don’t fully endorse.
