Upon entering the closest bar, Steve is met with excitement from the patrons. Several of them calling out "hey cap!", "youre a hero cap!", and some trying to take selfies with him.

He feels himself get a little choked up. He had done everything possible to not think about Steve. About how much he missed Steve. About how much it hurt when Steve left him to go back in time. It hurt. A lot. Because he avoided it, he hadn’t realized how much he missed him.

Steve takes both of their drinks from the bartender, calling him a "Good Man" before handing Bucky his.

Bucky has gone to hide in the restroom for a bit. His breaths come in short huffs; he knows what this is, a panic attack. He got them sometimes. Often in situations like these where there were a lot of people. A lot of hands. And Steve. Oh, god, Steve.

Steve waits at the table, occasionally checking his watch. How long does he have to wait until he goes looking for him? It had been over 60 years since he had seen Bucky. He would have though that Bucky would have been excited to see him too, but instead, he has been looking more reserved than normal. Something isn't sitting right with Steve.

He shouldn’t be there anymore. Steve won’t want him. Steve can handle it if he disappears one more time. Especially since he will probably show up back in Steve’s life soon based on his timeline.

Bucky walks straight into him, spilling his drink on the both of them.

He tries to smile. He gives something that barely raises the corners of his mouth- normal for him now but so different from the Bucky Steve knew.
