And then from Stiles’ end he’s just loving being with Derek and around Derek and he gets that his age is a massive barrier so he’s holding off until he hits 18 before he tries to jump Derek. Plus he knows about Kate and Jennifer so he gets Derek wanting to take things slow. Sure, they’ve never talked about it, but why would they need to? They just get each other.

And then they decide the time is right to tell the Sheriff about the supernatural, but Stiles gets nervous and fucks up and tells the wrong secret.

And the Sheriff is like, “Yes, son, I figured when I saw him sneak out of your window four nights out of seven for the past six months.”

And Derek is like, “Wait. We’re dating?”

There’s just this silence where everyone stares at him.

Stiles just shakes his head. “Dude,” he says.

like literally the US gov’t has people whose job it is to go and interview the family, friends, & neighbors of disabled people to just make sure that they never refer to anyone in their life as “my wife” or “my husband” etc

and if you DO, then SNAP! You’re defrauding the US gov’t of the pittance you can barely survive on and you are no longer entitled to your disability benefits

(some kinds of benefits might remain in diminished form but if you were disabled before age 22 you are fucked COMPLETELY and can’t get them back even if you divorce… the only loophole is if the other person was ALSO deemed disabled before 22, because that fucking makes sense)

and this is just… legal and no one but disabled activists ever talks about this shit

Not only is that policy driven by racism, It’s also a violation of the fundamental right to marriage ( Loving v. Virginia, Oberfell v Hodges). A precedent has been set that discrimination based on who someone is married to is unconstitutional.

An idaho man going by John Doe for anonymity has filed a class action lawsuit against Trump, Mcconell, and Mnuchin on behalf of “All United States Citizens married to immigrants that file joint taxes wherein the immigrant-spouses file tax returns using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number whom would have otherwise qualified for the Stimulus Check.”
