yuna coming back outside just in time to see shane holding ilya in place to shake his hair out on him and ilya spotting her from the corner of his eye and "shane, stop! i said i'm cold!" and yuna "shane, that is not nice."

cackling about the idea of shane who has only ever known Mom Is Home Base facing the concept of Mom Is Home Base And Also Weapon for the first time and being SO mad about it. no fair!! that's cheating!!!! >:(

also feeling emotional about the idea of ilya getting to play like this again. it's been SO long since he's gotten to have fun in a family dynamic, and as much as he's always joked about being yuna's favorite son, it does feel SO good to know that he's accepted enough to play like this and have her take his side even when he's just using it to fuck with shane. he's absolutely baiting shane when he sits at yuna's feet around the fire pit later, but he also closes his eyes and leans into it when yuna idly smooths his hair back the same way she would for shane.
