Delight! Horror! Fantasy and Terror!

Today we remember the 49 lives lost and countless others forever changed on June 12, 2016, at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. What was meant to be a night of joy, music, and pride became one of unimaginable tragedy.

We honor the memory of those we lost—most of them young, queer, and Latinx—and we stand with the survivors, the families, and the community still healing.

Your partner potentially finding you unattractive during your pregnancy or post pregnancy (especially if its related to weight gain) is a case by case basis and that probably means your partner is kinda shitty, and the kid who didn't ask to be born is not really the one to blame for that. Sorry.

Saying pregnancy "destroys your body" also implies that your body is beyond help or healing, and again is also getting into ableism territory. You getting stretch marks, tearing during birth, or getting a bunch of cavities isn't "destroying your body", they're potential & common things that MIGHT happen if you give birth, & its literally a case by case basis for every child you have. There's no guarantee you will or won't experience things. There's also a chance your pregnancy can get rid of your allergies, your labor will be 2 hours long, & your pregnancy will be easy. You literally never know.

My top surgery was initially planned for June, but unfortunately, I have not yet managed to raise even half of my target amount. This is an updated version of my original donation post to clarify that, despite the notes on it, I have not reached my goal. My situation remains unchanged; I am a trans man of color and a first-generation immigrant living in the U.S. While I do have a job, all my earnings go towards supporting my family.

I am still aiming for a total of $9,300 to cover the costs of anesthesia and facility fees. Sadly, due to my citizenship status in the U.S., I lack access to a job that provides insurance to help with these expenses. Marlow Trottie was killed on June 8th 2026. She was found dead, alone, in the streets of Alexandria, Louisiana. It was a homicide.

Marlow Trottie was a woman. Her family has contested this, and publicly misgendered her, and many news sites have already deadnamed and misgendered her as well. I fear what her obituary will say. I fear what her gravestone will say even more.
