The thing is that they both weigh about 4.5kg, they both make high-pitched noises when they're hungry, they're both cute and snuggly, and they both ultimately rely on my husband and me to take care of all their daily needs. And I am sleep deprived.

I have a friend with a Dog. And sometimes we all go out and friend plays with the Offspring at the play ground while we walk the Dog around the park.
And yes. In moments of extremity I DO call the Dog by the Offspring's name. And she also calls the Offspring by the Dog's name. We are both mortified by this. It will absolutely happen again
