The Quintessons, who they themselves believe to be the smartest and most powerful race in the universe, have, at long last, discovered a way to end the Great War and bring total peace, prosperity, and unity to the galaxy: have Megatron and Optimus get bonded to each other. As many may suspect, neither party is enthusiastic about this decision. But given the shiny new planet destroying weapon the Quintessons have figured out, Optimus and Megatron have to go along and pretend to be happily bonded, while also trying to figure out a way to discretely bring down the Quintessons. Of course, as usual, nothing goes right.

Anyways bit of a summary of where I am now emotionally wise so yeah be warned of a bit of existential talk but, I'll try to keep it positive in the end!
S o o o o gonna cut to the chase. I have been getting more slowly stressed by the month, week, and now day! â¨ď¸
Ever since a certain đ turned out to have 'won' a totally not biased popularity contest I have been feeling dread build up in me. What does one do when it is futile and you can only wait to see what happens... you turn to fandom!
[Don't worry I got RL community family and friends as well, but y'know, what helps in my free time helps]
I'm a Latina American, grew up appreciative of it and respecting what my parents sacrificed and went through to migrate from their respective home countries to start over in the US. Good honest people that earned their place here, and each time I went to the court house with family to see another relative earn their US citizenship it's been amazing.
And yet.
The threat of someone in power wanting even that just disregarded was something I couldn't help but feel like would happen when certain voices became too popular. And unfortunately I turned out to be right đ
Transformers became a comfort to me, this silly yet surprisingly deep various of shows and movies and such drawing me in thanks to Transformers One (RIP the sequel, ONE DAYYYYY HOPEFULLYYYYY) and I am certain never gonna stop anytime soon. It's just so unique how I can hope from one continuity to another and appreciate the differences in each one, mostly. And eventually I got active on TikTok.
You can see through the same username I use there that I post fun little stories of TF figures I've collected and took on little adventures, and found other fellow people doing the same. It was wonderful, a niche community of us showing the next picture or video of our little bots.
And it was a little form of therapy to me as well. I can't do anything about my fears of one of my non English speaking relatives being taken away DESPITE having citizenship once winter is over and ICE potentially coming back in droves to the Midwest. But I can show my little world I've made of helping little guys feel safe and secure in my care.
But now, TikTok has changed. Things are getting weird in various ways and that is just... frustrating. It's no secret that a certain administration is wishing to manipulate it and potentially is doing right now, and it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Connection issues, the content we make being all of a sudden seen WAY less than usual, and chatter people are having on how much data this app now collect from us.
Yeah, this... sucks. Especially since I've made a good number of posts of my little stories and now have to consider migrating and bringing it all over because I don't wanna just erase and move on from them. So, I'm still deciding how exactly to so this. Maybe I'll figure it out on Instagram, maybe miracle will happen and things will come back to normal [unlikely but hey I can dream].
But one things for certain, I find no reason to not commence reblogging and chatting perhaps about Transformers here. I love it, I really do, and despite what some idiots may think, these characters and messaging would not support the tyranny going on now.
I'm a different person compared to who I was when I last was truly active here. Maybe not drastically but I can't pretend I haven't gone through my own little transformation deep down as I have to wrangle with unfair uncertainty. But hopefully the little things here will help me get by a little more.
Tumblr ain't perfect but it's certainly better compared to TikTok. And unlike Instagram, I can't write my thoughts as much there as I can here.
So whether it's through reblogs and writing or maybe also uploading my stories here, I'm ready to dust it off and use it once more like how it helped me before when I was younger. Helps too that I got a few mutuals palso gonna be using this platform as well perhaps!
So yeah, I guess I'm back. And thankfully have not become more conventionally normal since AHA~ Sorry for whatever weirdness any people who still follow me from before may get subjected to.

it kinda depends on who you ask but in general they find them just. very tiny. and squishy looking.
some like onyx and quintus find them kinda cute. others like prima and amalgamous think they're kinda ugly but in a cute way. liege just thinks they're plain ugly. he learns to appreciate them in his own way but he never stops finding them a little weird.
solus is impressed by how much things they can do and how much destruction they can create when they're so tiny and their technology so lacking. their tech is soooo primitive but she's making grabby hands at some of those explosives to see what they can do.
zeta is grateful solus cannot in fact get her hands on any of those explosives.
and megatronus is for once glad he's incorporeal. just the thought of how careful he would have to be to not step on them at all times stresses him out.
The image of the Prime ghosts watching Optimus (and B-127 too probably he would LOVE talking to humans) getting attached to these fleshy aliens is so precious ahahaha we're just oblivious to these demigods seeing our humble species.
But oh if this is after Cybertron has fallen and so the Autobots are refugeed on Earth ooohhh would the other Primes get the feeling that Optimus feels some comfort in gaining allies that welcome him to their home. The wonder at the wildlife on this planet reminds him of when he once was a no cog and saw the surface of his own home for the first time. He loved his world but couldn't save it, and so he wants to protect these humans from going through the same spark shattering experience đ
It's heavy the guilt and self blame he has on himself even when the other Primes tell him he did the best he could. They probably though he would never smile again when he had to accept that he lost too much, and yet once it's back when he's answering the queries of an excited human.

I used to keep track of the different ant colonies in my yard as a child and it was the wildest shit. You could tell the difference between colonies by colors & pattern if you looked closely enough. Theyâd stage ant wars on the sidewalks that lasted days, just ants murdering each other, and the cleanup afterwards would last days longer as the survivors pick up and carry away the carcasses. Once I saw a war happening between the colony that lived under the berry bush and a colony I didnât recognize, and evidently the berry colony lost, because after the war their nest site was empty⌠and then a few days later was inhabited by the other colony that had fought them.
Once at a lake I saw an ant travel like 3 meters across flat rock carrying a dead ant, and he kept going until he got to the cliff side and then kept going down towards the water, and he didnât stop until he got to where the rock was wet. Then he stood there for a few seconds, dropped the corpse into the water, waited a little longer, and then headed back the way he came. I feel like I witnessed a ceremony

So becuase Iâm living in an appartment building and have no yard into which I may release Charlie when his little doggy bladder fills up, I end up walking him at strange hours of the night in all manner of weather, becuase I love him.
So tonight itâs single-digits and snowing, and while weâre walking back, I see a big gray tabby curled up with itâs back to us on the porch of one of the houses thatâs not yet occupied. It doesnât look up at us when we pass by, or when charlie doubles back and starts climbing the stairs to sniff it.
Understandably worried that someoneâs pet is lose or that one of the ferals is goign to be a kitty popsicle, I hurry home, collect the cat carrier and go back to the porch to bring kitty in from the cold. Since I will probably need both hands to carry it back and thereâs enough ambient light, I donât take a flashlight.
Kitty must be very asleep becuase it doesnât look up when I put the crate down, or when I walk up to it, but the *second* I touch just one of its little kitty fluffs, Itâs head pops up with the loudest, deepest âbrrp?â cat start-up noise ever.
âŚand I realize by the large tufted ears and buff shoulder muscles that the thing I am attempting to pick up is not an unusually large tabby. Â
Itâs the fucking Bobcat.
Fortunately, instead of maiming me, like my idiot ass deserves, it lets out a demonic YEEEAAUGH and flings itself off the porch, fleeing into the night, and I sit there waiting for my heart to start beating again, presumably to tell itâs bobcat buddies all about itâs attempted alien abduction.
If you find yourself in times of trouble, ask yourself, âwhat would Gandalf doâ, and remember, âbeat a man unconscious with a big stickâ is a valid answer
