This week was chaos but today, surrounded by a group of fellow martial artists, I witnessed people chasing dreams, yelling in the face of adversity and showing grace, humbleness and talent. Cutting phase is progressing nicely. Last week I lost 1kg, 2cms off my waist and my hips. But today I can't stop thinking about the other types of results. We spend so much of our lives focusing on how our body looks, and I'm not going to lie, I'm really enjoying the physical proof of the hard work I'm doing but what about the other side? People will focus on losing weight, but what about gaining health? Instead of focusing on that cellulite...why do we forget about what our body's do? I can't stop looking at how strong my nails are and how healthy my hair is. This week, my body fought off an infection without any medication, just good food, water and lots of sleep. On a calorie deficit, my body still helped me get through work, through training and through the mental breakdowns.
