Twilight was going on a surveillance mission for 72 hours straight, so on your way "home" you stopped and picked up a bag of coffee beans. Dark roast, Twilight's favorite. You made it back to the WISE safehouse and Twilight was already there, packing for the mission.
"Starlight?"
"Here twilight. I thought you might want this." You hand him the bag Coffee beans, careful of keeping your distance.
"Oh thank you," he said as he was examining the bag. Of course he was keeping his emotions in check, but you could see the tells. A little glimmer in his, a twinge of a smile.
You knew he was happy, and that's what mattered.
A single gardenia:

Later that evening you stepped into the room, dressed in your finery, ready for the opera. When Twilight saw you he paused.

Just then Bunny decided to interrupt you guys.
"Heya Henry, Y/n," Bunny greeted you, "how's it going."
"It's alright Bunny I was just telling Henry about the new guy that's joining us tomorrow
"OH yeah I did hear a thing or two about him. It'll be quite interesting for sure.
"We'll sure see tomorrow, say are you going to the party on Friday?"
"I was wanting to , but Marion wants me to cut back on my drinking y'know. Gotta keep the old girl happy."
"Alright, well see ya around. You too Henry." Then Bunny wandered off on his merry way doing who knows what.
"I don't get why you talk to him like that," Henry murmured to you, a hint of disgust in his voice.

You wander away, sick of Henry. You see Camilla and try to wave but she glances at you and keeps walking. You and her never really clicked, which is sad because when you first started you had hoped to have a girl friend. Oh well. You spot Charles nearby and don't even bother.
You head back to your dorm and get some rest. tomorrow is going to be interesting.

Soda took this advice next time he saw you. This time it was outside of work. He had burned dinner and now it was his job to go out and get some fast food to eat.

"Well I was feeling kinda crappy about burning dinner, but now I'm glad I did because I get to talk to you."
You giggle and it's like music to his ears. "You're too kind."

"So you said you live 'round here?"
"Yeah I moved here a few months ago."
You and Soda talked and talked for probably an hour. Darry was a little frustrated that Soda came home late, but he eased up a little when he saw Soda with a bigger smile on his face then he's seen in months.
