was outside earlier and a bird Came Up, squatted down, fluttered it’s wings at me and opened its mouth like a hatchling begging for food (it was a grown female) so I went and checked the seed cube in the feeder and the thing was completely covered in mold. this is one of the weirdest things that’s ever happened to me. how did she know im the one in charge of the birdseed. i have spent my afternoon confusedly getting dressed, driving to the store, purchasing a new seed block, driving home, washing the cage, and getting the feeder set back up. i don’t take this much care for my Own nutrition. ive been bullied into a grocery store run by a tufted titmouse. i feel so loved

It is almost hatch-watch time for Ralen's clutch! Today (7/21/26) is day 73 and I can reasonable expect them to start pipping as early as day 75.

When will Ralen's eggs hatch?

7/23-7/24 (hooray!)

7/25-7/26 (woo!)

7/27-7/28 (this is okay)

7/29-7/30 (please don't take this long)

7/31-8/1 (sadness)

Alas for me, day 75 and day 76 have passed. I just wanna see some (hopefully) leopard motley babies. Even just one. I'll be happy with just one that also eats and thrives.

Happy Fucking Moon Day

So, the expo i was at was primarily for birds. I was directly across from 2 cockatoos, 3 amazons and an african gray and 2 tables down was a macaw. Plus all the other parrots in the building. And every single one was screaming for most of the 8 hours I was there. I was even hallucinating the sound of them when I got home

Somehow, instead of making things harder to hear today its like it primed my brain to hear every single fucking sound with the same intensity whether it's a quiet sound or not. The sound of my own chewing makes me want to rip my ears off.

This is hell.

#things that make me continue to wonder if I'm actually audhd

There is someone insisting that their 8 month old corn snake is 42 inches long (adult sized) but still too small for fuzzies (starts at snake = 30 grams) and that they are not measuring the snake wrong and that its almost as long as the 4 foot long cage and that there's no way a 42 inch (3.5 foot) long snake is big enough for adult mice.

They've got to be trolling at this point
