Dad For One, Dad For All
I think Dad for One stories that have Izuku as AFO’s only child are thinking too small. The man has been running around for over 200 years, and it would be WAY FUNNIER if he was actually the Deadbeat Dad TM to at least half a dozen kids spanning at least 3 generations.
Does he have these kids on purpose to experiment with the quirks? Does he just happen to have romantic relationships about once a decade or so and nature takes its course? Does he stick around long enough to even realize he has kids half the time? I don’t know.
So, here’s my list of candidates that meet any of my criteria. That is, red eyes/white hair, as I believe AFO had before All Might turned his face into a potato; or a quirk that could be tied back to All For One. (Or if it would be funny for plot reasons)
Midoryia Izuku because it’s already the common theory and would be funny for plot reasons.
Monoma Neito can copy quirks.
Aizawa Shouta can suppress quirks and has red eyes.
Toga Himiko discovers a secondary aspect to her quirk that allows her to copy quirks. I think she might have red eyes too.
Eri has white hair, red eyes, and a quirk that allows her blood to be used to make quirk erasing bullets.
Aoyama was born quirkless just like Izuku and received his quirk from AFO, so that could be a fun connection to play with.
Tamaki can take on traits of things he eats, and I’ve seen at least one fic where he’s able to use that like Toga if he eats dna from a mutant type and mimics their quirk.
Gran Torino. No reason except that it would be funny.
Actually, by that logic wouldn’t it be hilarious if Toshinori Yagi were ALSO a son of AFO? And that’s the real reason AFO decided to recruit Nana’s grandson. Because she stole his kid first, lmao.
That’s all I’ve got off the top of my head. But you can always add whoever you want. The best part is, they don’t all have to be AFO’s *kids*. Some of them could be grandkids or even great x3 grandkids. Meaning Aizawa could legally be Eri’s adoptive father but biologically be her nephew and it would be the funniest thing.
If you’re going to give the immortal character kids, then there should be some Percy Jackson level shenanigans with the family tree.
