Budget: A Lila and Tomoe story
Tsurugi Industries Tomoe’s office
Cerise is standing in Tomoe’s office. Her hair is messy, and she has dark circles under her eyes as if she hasn’t slept well in a few days. She is wearing a black kimono with white skulls on it.
Tomoe is turned away from Cerise as if she’s disappointed with her, she is facing towards the window.
Tomoe: “You have some nerve showing up here.”
Cerise: “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have a good reason, mother.”
Tomoe: "You've failed me enough for one lifetime.”
Cerise: “Really? What about Kagami?”
Tomoe turns around to face Cerise.
Cerise: “Face it mommy dearest I’m all you got.”
Tomoe: “What do you want Lila?”
Cerise: “Well first and foremost I’m going to need a new place to live now that the Miraculers have discovered my lair.”
Tomoe: “Out of the question?”
Cerise: “Excuse me!??”
Tomoe: “Need I remind you that Ladybug is keeping a close eye on everything that I do.”
Cerise: “So? You have money, find a way.”
Tomoe: “It’s not that simple.”
Cerise: “Also I’m going to need a new credit card.”
Tomoe: “No!”
Cerise: “I need to buy new clothes. I had to burn all of my old clothes when I fled my lair.”
Tomoe: “Why don’t you just stay transformed all the time?”
Cerise: "Can't, it drains the kwami.”
Tomoe(sighs): “What do you need?”
Cerise(pulls a list out of her kimono): “I’m going to need some new wigs, shirts, a new waitress uniform, a maid uniform, a gothic lolita dress to go on a date with Mar…”
Tomoe: “Enough! You will let go of your foolish obsession with Marinette Dupain-Cheng! She is not Ladybug!”
Cerise: “But she has to be. It’s the only thing that makes sense.”
Tomoe: “You will let this obsession go. Is that clear?”
Cerise: “But…”
Tomoe: “You nearly got captured because of your ridiculous belief that this Marinette girl is Ladybug! Let it go Lila.”
Cerise(in an annoyed tone of voice): “Yes mother.”
Tomoe: “You tried doing things your way, now we are going to do things my way.”
Cerise: “Why? Last I checked I was the one with the Butterfly Miraculous, and not you.”
Tomoe: “You are a very foolish girl!”
Cerise: “How so?”
Tomoe: “This whole time I’ve been protecting you from the Kingdom.”
Cerise: “I’m not afraid of the Kingdom.”
Tomoe: “You should be. Right now they think that I’m the new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous. If they find out that I’m lying, they will kill us both.”
Tomoe pulls out a credit card, and Cerise takes it from Tomoe’s hand.
Cerise(evil smile): “Thanks mommy.”
Tomoe(stern look on face): ”Don’t go over budget!”
Tomoe takes out a cell phone.
Tomoe: “Now let’s get you a new place.”

Cerise enters her new apartment. She takes the Butterfly Miraculous out of her kimono, and puts it on the nightstand next to her bed. She then taps the Butterfly Miraculous to make Nooroo come out.
Nooroo looks at her with a scared expression on his face.
Cerise(evil smile on face as she looks at Nooroo): “Hello kwami. You will never be free. Everybody hates you. They abandon you. Because that’s what people do. They abandon you once you are no longer of any use.”
Cerise breaks down in tears, and starts sobbing.
Nooroo is unsure what to do. He has never seen her like this before.
Cerise: “Well say something kwami. CHEER ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Nooroo: “Well… I…”
Cerise snaps her fingers, and Nooroo falls to the floor paralyzed.
Cerise uses the sleeves of her kimono to wipe away her tears.
Cerise picks up the Butterfly Miraculous, and pins it to her kimono.
Cerise: “Nooroo dark wings rise!”
Nooroo is sucked into the Butterfly Miraculous.
Cerise transforms into Chrysalis.
Chrysalis: “You really think you’re so smart Ladybug. I won’t be made a fool of. You got lucky. But you will never get that close to me ever again. When this is over I will be the one who stands victorious.”
