for those of you who donāt know, puerto rico has been experiencing a series of quakes since december 28th, originating in the south of the island.
a 6.6 hit around 4:25 am in yauco, a 6.0 hit roughly 30-40 minutes ago in ponce. this is the strongest theyāve been so far. iām in san juan and we felt tremors from these quakes. as of right now we donāt have power across puerto rico.

My professor's son is 4Ā½ and if he wins, he gets to be on a can of boiled peanuts, which he is very excited about! The voting is also helping him learn his numbers, which is very very cute and Important.
There is a scale for what we can earn, extra-credit-wise, and the maximum we can get is a 15 point curve on the final (which is the ACS OChem exam, and is notoriously difficult) AND a 5 point curve on our final grades, but only if we can get 6000 votes by November 25th, 2019.
Today my professor told us "if, in my life, I can get an interracial child on a can of boiled peanuts [in South Carolina], that's the dream."
